    That's exactly what's happening.........
Ok till you hit a hill...

I wonder if the cruise uses the torque based throttle maps? I changed those a lot to get full throttle. Because the cruise is way more abrupt than stock...

I think my trans mods are very similar to the ones you made and the trans is working really good, just shifting slow...

What did you change in those maps and why? Post up a screen shot?

I'll definitely work with ya to get a trans tune that fits you! My V10 tune fits what I want out of MY truck (not super aggressive shifting and maintaining lockup lots longer in 4th n 5th, on a truck with 265/75s 2in lift and minimal armor... Aka near stock) which may or may not suit your needs. Definitely feel free to hit me up and we can start at one point, go to way the other side and then find a happy medium!

Awesome! She is heavy (5400lbs) so that might change things up a bit.

Some how those maps are use for throttle control. My throttle position logs were very rounded and wouldn't stay at full throttle. So I made the maps much more aggressive so full throttle is more instant and holds steady. So my logs are sharp straight lines. Don't think it's any faster, but I know I'm getting full throttle. I don't see a transient fuel map, so opening the throttle faster may not help much, for now.

But the ECU may use those maps for other things, like cruise control or traction control, so I'm just testing it out...

Ultimately that will be in my Dune Map..

I can't fully remember but I did have to resync the interface (under the help tab) on the VCM scanner and probably the editor as well after I upgraded. The mvpi2 has to be plugged in while doing so.

If i was going to 37's id be all in on that. I was conservative with the 285's going with 4.56 but should have known 4.88's. last minute change and regret it. will happen eventually. The SC has consumed me now.

Lots have been looking to JustDSM for engine tuning, then changing things on the auto trans side of things either with the help of the info i have provided or just spelunking on their own.

yah may go that route at first as well. Seen him pop up a bunch for tuning help. Need to read up more on the HPT side of things and see what you have suggested. Have not picked up a HPT setup yet.

It is an internal limitation of the PCM which is why once PE has begun the system goes into open loop, it is simply not capable of handling AFRs past the reported 11.7-11.9 AFR.

If you were to take a factory Toyota WRAF (AFR) sensor, and plug it into an AEM UEGO or X-Series gauge (theoretically, assuming the plug would fit), you would find it is capable of reading much MUCH lower than the OE PCM. Similar to the UCON and X-1 the circuitry to handle and read out the higher and lower voltages the sensor is capable of reading out is better utilized on dedicated AFR gauges.
