I figured you'd have the top of the line model!

So is this something that when you program the sensors you only have to do it once? And it doesn't matter if the sensors in the other wheels are a different type?

I believe I'll need sensors that have a 40° angle on them too for these steelies. :notsure:

    Sensor type irrelevant.

The angle of the face that they sit on is different. So they won’t line up on the wrong wheel

Well you might just have swing by for some hospitality and hook me up when the time comes :fistbump:

Yea, pretty positive 40° is for steel and 20° is alloy.

I found these. I believe they are exactly what I need.

    https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/252051236275

I might also need spacers depending on the tire I ultimately choose too.

And I need to make sure my ET Spline lugs work on these otherwise I'll need a set of those too.

Cross reference with Denso’s website if you need to, since denso makes the sensors for toyotas

Thanks Mason. Problem is, my year only shows alloy, not steel. Also, these are black steel, not the 16 silver that were OEM on a lot of Tacomas. I think these are FJ wheels.

I'm pretty sure I need the Toyota Tacoma 40° versions.

Edit - I found a set of 4, new OEM sensors for $144 shipped. 40° "for steel wheels" the ad said.

    Bought them!

Fyi @pdenajim definitely going to need some help eventually!

Just picked up the 4runner from shop and damn I didn’t realize how sloppy the steering was till this new rack was installed.

Sheeeeeeeeet, I was off roading before some of the members on here were in or out of diapers! I earned my wings long ago Son! :fistbump:

Hell, as a matter of fact, you ain't shit unless you've been in at least one rollover in you life, and drove away from it.
On or off road, so yes unmaintained county dirt roads in Maddensville, Pa, near Altoona count.

Of course that was all about 40 years ago, give or take, but I am willing to bet dirt, rocks and mud are still dirt, rocks and mud :mudding:

    Trouble maker! :fistbump:
