This is what our children should be looking up to as big brother. Hard working, aspiring young man. Unlike what the MSM are feeding our kids. I'm not gonna go there, this thread is for Jason.

Thank you. It's funny how true those quotes are. Something that I think about that prevents me from getting into the workaholic pattern is
You can't enjoy the things you work for if you are always working or how much can you enjoy if you have no time to enjoy. This is why I'd prefer a more simple life.

Tons. Start small and expand slowly. Don't get in over your head ie save up and then buy the things don't buy on credit unless absolutely necessary. Get on a personal level with your customers. There are so many but that's a good start. Best of luck to you with your business adventures.

 

i have only been slowly expanding. i just started getting my bulk product for my detailing. pound of clay. gallons of liquid wax and detailer. all out of my profit but i figured i wanted to cut overhead costs for the next wave of business i get

 

That's another thing. Doing that is smart just make sure you can justify the expense. Same with equipment.

Not cheesy at all, very wise!! I may not be the most "successful", but my parents are proud. I go to work, love my family, and married a woman who has the same values.

Its kids like you that will always provide us with outstanding adults. You will obtain all that you dream with the positive attitude you posses and appreciation for good old hard work. I went to high school with a guy much like yourself, worked hard, cared about people, and eventually his dream came true... he just became one our graduating class' very few celebrities, he is member of the Blue Angels. BTW I graduated around the corner from you at OPHS, go Raiders!

Hey Jason, I was just looking at your website. It looks great! I love the Lawn tips section. An educated customer works with you not against you and helps keep the lawn looking excellent.

I have a few suggestions.
Change your email address to something @jasonslawncare.com get rid of the yahoo domain.

See if some of your clients will let you take pictures of their lawn..or even better, you in action on their lawn. People like to see examples of work.

Reword the Home section to put something along the lines of Edging, Trimming, and blowing is a STANDARD service EVERYTIME. If its not your standard, it should be.

Just some thoughts. Hopefully I will put a website together during the winter time for my landscape biz and pickup some more clients next year.
