Forget Recalls, Lets make a piece of shit ford and make it so easy to steal we will get two sales for every one we sell at least. The original and the replacement after it gets stolen.

Well Canada to the rescue. You can actually get the security for free now from the insurance companies. What a joke.

Just phone em up tell them to fix it or no sales period. Ford Trucks have been like that forever. Why the hell is the public paying to fix it.?

Better yet want to buy a Ford ? Well kick up the cash for the security or no insurance. You got to love this country they have no balls here ! Don't hear this recall on the news.

Noticed though a recall announced on Toyota. Cracking plastic. Whatever same day news Fords new what the hell kind of useless car Can't think of the name now. Some stupid piece of shit gets rave reviews on the same news day.

Timing is just to odd to be like real news it's got to be some kind of damn plot.

    End Rant !

What am I talking about? In Canada Ford Trucks are like the number one stolen thing there is. They're like light years ahead of the competition. I'm pissed off that my hard earned insurance money is going to pay to fix Fords defect.

You don't see insurance companies paying to fix your Toyota gas peddle do you ? Why is Ford getting a free ride with this defect and not getting any damn bad press about it also ? The more cash they give to Ford owners the more my insurance costs. I don't own a Ford I don't think i should be paying to fix somebody else's. Like I said this country has no balls. Ten years ago they could have just phoned them up and said look your useless trucks are so easy to steal there like 10000 percent higher risk than anything else, Fix it. Nope nothing, not a damn word.

People stealing Ford Trucks isn't a "truck" defect. It's a "people" defect....

"You don't see insurance companies paying to fix your Toyota gas peddle do you ?"

That's because is illegal to "peddle" gas......

It is a truck defect. A kid can steal them in a second. It's like they made it as easy as possible. Thing is I don't want my cash going to pay to fix it or replace them when the are stolen. They really should not have been allowed to sell them here till they fixed it.

It's like a make money project at every ones else's expense

"“In addition to being the most stolen vehicle in our province, the average repair cost for a stolen Ford F-Series truck is more than twice that of the average stolen vehicle"

"Theft of Ford pickups is a significant public safety issue"

It's a safety defect. Kids are stealing these big assed trucks and driving them around smashing into Dodge Rams, Dodge Rams are going extinct.

Ok so I made that last part up but it's like you park a F- series truck around here it's gone. We can't shoot thieves here.

Wait, why would someone steal a Ford? This sounds fishy to me.

I was gonna say use some fishing line instead, I think it would be a little more covert than string.

Actually the police have converted a few of them to bait trucks. Basically a jail on wheels. You can get in but you can't get out.

Complete with cameras. Funny to watch. I'm not the only one that are ticked about this. One guy had a good point what about the people that already installed there own do they get a rebate? Question is though why the free handout to Ford. The Dodges are just as easy to steal and they don't get any handout. I put a alarm in my truck and it's not likely I'll be getting any cash back for that also.

What makes them so easy to steal as opposed to other trucks?

Just poor design. Really they have nothing to stop thieves. Like it's almost seems to me to be done that way on purpose. If you look at there sales figures how many of those actually are just replacements for ones that got swiped. Like it was so bad here they did change the law and forced manufacturers to have security by default on all new cars and trucks. There is a loop hole in it though. Commercial classed trucks don't need it. Guess what they are using the F-350's for?

Like they do go after people here after the fact to pay costs if they feel they are responsible. I can't understand why they have not taken Ford and Dodge to court to recover costs from there totally poor design. That was one way of fixing the problem the other way was to make the insurance on those trucks so expensive because of risk that sales would dry up. Bet they would fix it then.
