We are on "high alert" for the baby, so I likely won't be going anywhere unless it's a hospital.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
I know Chandler would love your company down at the lake. Lol

How was that? I’ve been trying to do the Big Frog loop for awhile. Anything challenging or technical?

Nah, you could do it in a Civic. Almost all the side trails were gated, and we had to turn around because of a huge tree on the road..so didn't quite complete it as drawn.

Maybe 4 saws, 20"+ bars and about 4 hours of time, one tree is about 3' diameter and that one took out a 2' tree..would be a chore for sure. Oh and they are on a pretty steep bank...lol

I've got a 50cc 20" bar PoulanPro that would be great if I can get it running for more than 30 seconds at a time.

Just buy a whole new carb assembly. The carb rebuilding days for lawn equipment are over. In my book anyway LOL

Running ethanol free gas helps a ton with small engine equipment as well.

That's not a bad idea. I've had it adjusted professionally once after not being able to get it going on my own (bought the adjustment tool).

I try to avoid ethanol gas whenever possible, especially in the chainsaw. It may have run one tank that contained ethanol.

I cursed a poolan once or twice in my life. I think the last go around I tossed it over the rock pile at the mtn house. I think it’s still there.
Sadly, it was my GPa’s and was one of the best PooLans ever made.

You won't get any argument from me. Ace has a 16" Stihl on sale for $179, or at least they did last week. The PoulanPro was $200 new and I've gotten 2 extra chains for it. The MSRP has since increased to $250. I'd so much rather the Stihl.

There are a lot of folks on the internet who say that the carb wasn't tuned properly from the factory and that a few simple adjustments will get them as good as any other brand. When mine works, it works wonderfully. the problem is getting it to work. I bought a carb adjustment set so that I could see if I could get it right. My fear was that I royally screwed it up with my adjustments. I made so many adjustments that I had no idea where "back to start" was....so I took it into a small engine repair shop and had them make the necessary adjustments. In my head, best $20 spent on that chainsaw. It worked wonders when I got it back....now I'm back to starting point.....where I hate it.

Looking up the part number for the carb, it looks like Husquavarna (or however you spell it) uses the same carb. For $23 and free shipping, I'll probably try replacing it.

Picture doesn’t even do it justice... I believe there was a total of three trees that had fallen
