Tempted but I've dumped enough money into the truck for now. Need to cut myself off for a while

I can’t say I’ve noticed any hybrid style bumper with headlight loops, and I’ve checked several out. Not knowing, I would imagine it’s likely due to support if a severe impact were to hit the loops, just looking at the supports. My background being chemicals rather than mechanics, my thinking is that the full plate bumpers have them as the areas under the headlights are more fully supported when compared to the hybrids that have the round tube only. But again, only an educated guess as I’m not an ME.

i was faced with that situation many years ago! (almost a decade now) thankfully everything checked out ok then, i have no idea now, though ... and its frustrating as hell
