That’s what you can see of an x-brace that I made myself, it’s all bolt-together. It’s probably not doing much. But I like the way it looks.

Good morning! Excited for the day??

With the long weekend, I'm going to try to bang out some of the changes I need on my car, so I can daily it while I take the truck down in late August to do the camshafts. I figure I'll do a writeup on that install

Awesome, what kinda things you need to do to the car? Please do do a write up on the cams! that may be enough of a confidence builder for me to pull the trigger on em..

I know what you mean, I’m also in a cubicle farm. Nice day out today so I gotta get outta here!

Need to put in a new radiator, thermostat and e fan, and install new intake camshaft gears. A bunch of other small things too, some aesthetic and some repairs. Signal lights aren’t working in the front and one of my AFR gauges stopped working, among other things.

Yeah i think im about to get outta here. Too nice to sit around and we arent busy right now, so might as well

That's a good little list you've got going. I'd love to see some more pics of your car if you have any. Been getting the itch to turbo my 4cyl lately. The s/c is nice, but i feel like it would be very limiting. Now that HPTuners has confirmed theyre working on support for the 4 banger, there is no time like the present to turbo it!

I'm jealous. Work here got crazy busy today!

There are some pictures on my instagram of the car, but here's a couple of teasers anyway.

Yeah, shit it moves. 350 wheel torque is a lot of fun in that little car. It's faster than my friend's 2011 Shelby. Really looking forward to getting that thing roadworthy again.

I have all my accessories (gauges and 12v cabin accessory chargers, which are under the front seat, and a glovebox charger) on that switch. So it's not linked to the ignition, doing an ignition-on mod was more work than I wanted to do at the time. Having the ability to turn the accessories on and off while the car isn't running has actually been useful at times.

That part of the picture is different now though. With that big aircraft switch, I couldn't close the ash tray. I reconfigured it to have two switches, because I needed one for the e-fan as well (currently have an e-fan but it doesn't move enough air), and went with some small rocker switches instead - I can close the ash tray and hence it's really slick.

Got a local car photography specialist to take a few photos. He's sending me some slowly as he completes the editing, lots more to come after this, should be some pretty boss ones on the way.

I physically got rid of them, lol. Decided a more subtle look was a better one.

Just noticed you removed the wording under the URD sticker as well.. Great minds think alike! :D
