Trd S\C with nosecone hybrid bearing upgrade kit. 2.0 urd pulley, 7th injector kit-urd "6 fabtech lift with 3" body lift. 20" XD spy wheels with toyo open country r\t's in 37"x 12.50x20. Front and rear diffs re-geared to 4.88 dirty 30 drive axles. and a rhino pack clutch. Custom exhaust and huge mudflaps!

The reason the pulley wears like that is not the urd pulley at all...........................It's a design flaw by toyota! If you take a hard look at the issue. it's right in front of everyone. Wait for it. It's the belt width?!?! Seriously who the Fck uses the original belt design and uses a belt as wide as a stick of chewing gum! What a joke! I have had belt slip on 3 trucks with factory pulleys. pulley brothers pulleys. and urd pulleys. And urd has the best design i have used. I have been looking to get custom pulleys made so i can run a 8 rib belt like normal companies do or a 10 rib belt Or even a toothed belt but no one wants to try it or i was quoted $1500-2500.00
Hell even the lame 25hp Nissan xterra S/C has an 8 rib on the snout. I hate the pulley system they "toyota" chose to lazily come up with. Sure it was the minimal design and it's clean and easy to do but it is no good. There should have been a pulley kit that was wider and also deleted the belt drive for the radiator fan. Some of the pulleys come off and separate into 2 pieces. They could have made a different pulley that switched out or bolted over to change the width. Half the pulleys are no issue but the other half on the alternator and the crank pulley would be the trickier parts. The only way i found to combat this is use a fresh tensioner pulley every 25-30000k miles there only $45.00 and an aftermarket belt not a toyota belt and also have the bearings in the S/C swapped out for hybrid ceramic balls and steel cages bearings for less resistance.

I've had 3 of these S\C on 3 trucks and i have never had to pay more than $2500.00 for a kit and that's dealer price for my shop not retail. Toyota would have sold even more super chargers.........But they had a rule where you could not finance the truck and the S\C together. The shop only got the labor if you bought it separately and had it installed. so it was technically a factory option per-say! Most insurance companies wont pay for it either if it's not declared in the policy originally when the policy was 1st written. Loop holes they consider it engine modification and you get nothing. Ask me how i know? That's how i ended up with 3 of these sweet units but now i only have one.

Great info, I was told NOT to use the TRD belt but use only the gates belt which is much better, will install a gates belt when I get the charger back, and your right about the skinny size belt, what a joke

All of those kits from day 1 of availability should have been sold with a 2" wide square cog belt and top quality idler gear. They cheaped it up a bit when they knew they could do better than what you get. A guy bolts a blower on his rig and he has dreams of a Top Fueler,,,don't deny it. Let it make a bit of noise. If you don't want noise,,get a electric bike. Serpentine belts and blowers should never go together. You would be better off with a old school detroit diesel V-groove 2 belt pulley setup.

Got my new 2.1 STEEL pulley on last month, no more worn out URD pulleys to deal with anymore and hopefully less heat transfer.
Going to order the STEEL 2.05" pulley and see how it works next.

Does this company have a website or phone number? I’m still running the stock 2.37 pulley and have been trying to figure out if I should get a Methanol kit and the 2.1 pulley(no 7th injector).

If you do get the smaller pulley you will need some kind of fuel management to keep from running lean. Methanol is a great solution, I recommend that over the 7th injector any day. It's a much cheaper kit too. Does everything the 7th does but does it much better and more efficiently, aside from having to refill the methanol tank every so often.

@BartMaster1234 orders his from some racing supply store out of state, I forget the name

But yeah if you live in CA it won't be as easy to get as if you lived somewhere that sells it in the auto parts store

So usually you would want to use -25 degree windshield washer fluid, since it’s half methanol half water. However that stuff is outlawed in California so you can’t buy it.

You can also buy 100% Methanol from a hardware store and mix your own, but I wouldn’t personally do it.

I buy pre-mix racing stuff from Snow Performance, I bought a case of four gallons on Amazon.
