Another reason I don’t want to paint the tailgate panel is that unless you’re inside the bed of the truck you don’t see it much. if it was something visible from outside the truck then I would paint it

Nice truck! How do you like your rack? Did you install yourself?

TRD CAI and cat back, bug shield, rear step, and Black Horse bull bar.
    1. Switches in overhead console for compressor & locker (future project).
Compressor installed in what was a rear compartment on left side of truck bed.
Compressor tucked in on mounting plate.
    Mounting plate cover installed.
5, 6, & 7. Hose runs from wheel well under rear of truck to ARB Quick Disconnect fitting.

The biggest PITA. The connector is not really made to mount in the bumper, and on the TRD Sport it’s a real pain because of the plastic bumper covering. The black ARB cannot be against the plastic cover or it won’t work when tightened. I had to get a washer for the back with a diameter short of the rubber & drill out the center using a step bit to just go over the threads. I was able to get the nut on and tightened, still making sure it worked.

    DONE - FINISHED.

Reporting back... it didn’t take very long to get my 35s on (the next day).

Turned out so good, and has very minimal rubbing so far. Still going to install the high clearance front bumper and a cab mount relocation so I can wheel this bitch.

Yes, at the moment. I was convinced I needed to regear, but so far... that feels pretty damn good too! (with no weight obviously)

I did the same thing from Headstrong but with 888s and waiting until Fall to install. Please update after you do the install, would really like to know how much front lift the 887s do considering there has been a change in all the lift heights with 887s and 888s.

I just finished installing the pop & lock kit I picked up from a fellow TW member. It was super easy and now I don’t have to worry about my tools being stolen anymore!

Very nice. I just installed the disconnect on the frame coming out of the 2 gal tank (under bed passengers side).

They did well. Had a much better tire selection than Discount, did a great job measuring what tires I could comfortably stuff in there (with minimal rubbing) didn't have any issue that I brought my own wheels. Also did alignment based on the specs of the Fox 2.5s and new UCAs. Everywhere else wanted to align it to factory spec.

Be warned though, their showroom is full of all the parts that we drool over online. They are now tangible, and you can touch and feel them...this can be a dangerous place for us Taco crowd. In my imagination, I added so much stuff that I would have to trailer the Tacoma everywhere. And with the cost, I'd also have to live in that roof tent I want.
