I'm going to yes. Lots of folks run it with their turbo trucks with great success.

@TMFF Runs it with his blower as well.

No, I don't think pulley size or the fuel controller is the issue, you'll want to look into something like an FIC6 once you've got it running correctly though. Interesting to know about those NGK plugs though.

Didn't realize you were in Seattle - let me know if you need a hand diagnosing it.

Thanks guys for the advice on the FIC6 I was just about to pull the trigger on the URD stand-alone ecu today. Now to do more research.
@drr thank for the offer I’ll let you know if I need a hand. Also I’m a little north of Seattle in Edmonds.

    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
I wouldnt worry about the supercharger, tune, or piggy back until you figure out the issue with cylinder 6. Wiring up the piggy back is not fun and I ran into a ton of issues. Deal with one issue at a time.

That spark plug looks like it wasn't firing as you pointed out or there was no fuel to detonate in the cylinder. Reach down and check to see if cylinder 6 fuel injector wire harness is plugged in / seated all the way.

Yes I agree. My main focus is to figure out the issue with cylinder 6. Ill try to see if I can reach around the S/C today to wiggle that wire around but from what I remember it was tight behind there.
Also the piggy back is just more of something I need to do a lot more research before slicing up my wiring. It will definitely have to wait until after this issue is resolved.

Just checked to see if I can reach the wiring for the fuel injector and there is no way getting to it without taking off the S/C. Maybe I’ll pull it off tonight.
Anyone know if I can run a mix of fuel injectors temporarily? Was thinking if it’s a bad injector to swap out just that 1 for the stock until new one would get here.

I’m at sea and not sure the pic will load but could the missing bolt be from here? (Pic stolen from 1st gen for sale section)

I saw this pic in the for sale section and just looked at his pic about the missing bolt. Not sure how it would cause the code though?

I doubt it would, but if it's indeed missing from there it should be installed anyway

@QMEDJoe I checked that before and this bolt is a lot smaller. I also thought it might be from the stock air intake boot but although they are very close in size they are not the same. Capture1.jpg

It almost looks like one of those throttle idle adjust bolts but I cant figure it out. I don't think it has any thing to do with the CEL but Its just killing me that I cant remember where its from, its such a unique bolt and to not have a home for it is very disappointing at the least.

I wonder if you swung by the local stealership and had them see the bolt size/thread pitch and look where that specific size bolt goes in the engine bay? They may be able to pull up a part# on that bolt and print out an exploded view of the engine bay and where it goes?

Umm what? lol the dealership near me cant even find OEM part numbers at times. I didn't know they can look up bolts by size. Interesting tho, I may have to give it a try.

My local parts dept didn't know the difference between a transfer case and a front differential so I wouldn't hold out much hope with mine on that lol

They most likely have a set of bolt/thread board like you would see at Lowe’s hanging up in the hardware dept. it’s probably a common problem I’m sure.

image.jpg Good news, took the supercharger off. Surprisingly only took me about 45 or so minutes to remove it swap out cylinder #6 and #1 injectors and put it all back together.
Started up the truck, cleared the code and then new code came up as p0301. The code moved with the injector. Looks like it’s a faulty injector that’s causing this issue. Will contact the seller to see if they will send me a replacement.

Glad you got it narrowed down, and even better to hear it isn't a head gasket issue
