I think it may be cheaper and easier to swap the entire rack assy.
And you don't need that swaybar anyway.

man I'd be worried about cracked core supports, motor mounts, coil buckets, frame, etc...jesus if you're going to go that hard at least build the truck up for it first. Cheaper than demolishing it and then having to repair it before upgrading

I agree on this, honestly wasn't that hard of an impact. was downhill momentum when i hit the boulder and it was thankfully a surface boulder and not stuck in the ground. i dragged it a few feet.

Did alot of inspecting, damage seems to be limited to the bent rods and blown CV's. oh and dented lower arm on right side. May have to do some closer inspection on that right side arm just to make sure its not bent, either way might chase a better one down for a replacement just in case.

If that's all there is then it might not be "cheap" but it could have been a lot worse, those are relatively easily replaceable items compared to some other things that could have gotten bent or broken

Yes i had said in earlier post very well could have been a hell of alot worse than it turned out. will look into the rack assembly option if its an easier fix.

    LS1 swap with nitros.
Wow... looks pretty limited to parts that can be swapped out fairly easily. No body damage, no paintwork, and thankfullllllly your Sport hood scoop was not damaged. Had it been a TRD off road you would have been unscathed. /s

Toyota parts are the best reasonably priced option. Hell, if I were you at this point, I would be Looking at going solid axle. Drop bracket lifts are not built for serious off-roading. Solid axle and 37’s. Then you can go full send!

I was going to sink some serious cash into this truck, been investigating the options for a compatible transition to a serious suspension upgrade. mainly right now trying to get it in operation for nominal terain, i took it to the limits this last weekend, the performance of the equipment underneath the truck showed its weaknesses.

At first I was like holy fuck! But seeing the brakcets that drop the sway bar down, it doesn't seem that crazy. Beat the tie rod down and get it aligned. Then do the CV and rods all at once. Check bolts at the control arms, especially the one u dented.

I like this advice, was wondering if i could just bend the bars back the other way, was worried they might snap them. Best advice so far, thank you.

I mean, maybe you might break em, but they're fucked anyway. Get it aligned asap. It won't take long to ruin those tires.

Just cuz they could snap at any time while cornering. Work hardening = brittle.
