a prep lab preparing samples for analysis...environmental lab. The prep process doesn't require low temperatures. You actually HEAT everything - cook it with different reagents to extract the target substances - and then analyze it on an instrument in an air conditioned room...But because the lab was full of vent hoods the air would turn over every 18 minutes in the entire prep area so the A/C unit couldn't handle replacing that volume of air....
Now we have A/C everywhere..have for years.

The general floor area is not, but the control rooms / wet labs are. So inevitably when something goes wrong you're on a ladder in a corner sweating to death.

One nice thing when you deal with aerospace machining, a/c everywhere set to 69-70 +/- 1° typically. Heating up and cooling of metal can really sway a part that is tight tolerance

My wife and I are renting a beach house in CT this weekend with two other couples. We plan on trying to do some fishing off long island sound. I haven't been salt water fishing since I was a kid. Is there anything biting this time of year or specific places anyone would recommend? We have a couple kayaks to get out on the water and drop our bait out further during shore fishing.

Just made me reminisce about my grandparents old house in north Stamford.. fishing trail rd. at the southern end they had a pond out front, my sister and I used to take the row boat out, and fish (usually never caught anything).. sorry Grandma passed away 2 weeks ago..

theres plenty of ponds, and streams out there, but the waterfronts there are a ton of nice parks.. mostly saltwater..

Porgy (Scup) are plentiful, cooperative and very tasty. Found on rock structure in the Sound. Fish on the bottom with a heavy freshwater rod and reel. Bait shops sell pre tied rigs. For bait, sand worm, squid or Gulp. In Connecticut you need a $10 saltwater license. FA80372C-1FC4-4ABD-BA72-49E8992D7F97.jpg FE274CA4-EAC2-4266-86F3-D3029C9082BA.jpg

I broke down 5 days ago.. they had a $20 off special pomotion,,, I bought the adventure pack...

have been wanting one ever since coming back stinking, and wishing I had an easier way to clean my food prep when running water is not available, as well as a quick shower when I am out for more than a few days...

have to do a long term review.. i like that it is fairly compact, runs for up to 5 minutes, and can be refilled on the trail from my jerry cans.. filling this, and my jerry can (5.83 gallons to fill line,, if I overfill it...6) gives me 6 +2 =8 gallons of water.. I may get another jerry can for water... I typically bring a case of bottled water for drinking..
