Cooper STT Pro

Claimed weight on the 285/75/16 Duratrac is 54 lbs. Unfortunately they only come in an E load.

STT Pros claimed is 61 lbs E load. Not seeing a C load on their website.

 

They are all for 15” wheels unfortunately.
I didn’t realize Tacoma brakes won’t work with a 15. The search continues...

 

Copper STT pro also has C load for a 255/75/17. The first 5 on your photo are C load.
If you scroll down on the spec page in your photo you will see a few C and D load.

 

Is this a stock OF if so what tire size looking to buy some STT Pros

 

These cooper tires have been an incredibly well performing tire. As far as hydro planning I couldn’t make the truck slide at 40mph but that’s probablly more a testament to the traction control. These are 235/85/16.

 

Hello all, I am new to Tacoma World and have a question regarding the STT pro's. I have a 2019 Tacoma TRD pro, and I am wondering if these tires will fit without a lift and if so what size I could go up to. If anyone has figured this out, and would like to lend me a hand with some advise that would be much appreciated. Thank you

They'll fit but heavy.

 

Getting these installed on Monday. 285/75-16s. Every review i've read and person I've talked to swears by them for both on and off road. Can't wait to get them on. Pics will come on Monday.

 

Love them they are the best tire I have owned yet, and there have been many.

 

What kinda ride quality are you guys getting with the pro?
I had a set off 33s that were the worst riding non swamper tire I've ever had. But I bought tires and wheels used so who knows.
But they were the best offroad of a non super swamper I've had to.

Some cool cats kickin around Africa may or may not be running STT Pros on their land cruisers in some pretty austere environments day in and day out. In case you needed another data point on their reliability.

 

235 or 255?

 

Both should fit. It just depends how pizza cutter you want to go.

 

I have 265/70/17's on mine and love them! Definitely LOUD, but have worked great in mud, snow, ice, and rain...

Did you get spare to fit under the bed?
Seems like there’s been an issue fitting it on the long beds.

Also did you consider the st maxx?
Both look pretty good

 

I didn't just consider them. I don't need the lugs the Pro sports and the ST Maxx are plenty for Utah playing mixed with the long highways stretches to get there..

I run 265/75R16 because that's the biggest I can go and still fit in the garage.

 

Best tires I've ever ran, ran them on my jeep were e rated 35s but rode on the highway and were no different than duratracs sound wise and drivability. Rain, snow, mud, you'll be thankful for these. It's an MT tire but rides like an aggressive AT tire. I've run duratracs, ko2, wildpeak at3, stt pro, st maxx. ST maxx is straight shit in muck and snow. They don't clear. I'm running the wildpeak now only because they're probs the best AT tire out. But going to E rated 285s in like a week. It's honestly not a big of a difference as some say, ride wise. Anyway. Buy the STT pro. You'll be happy you did
