Most of the teams in the PAC-12 are considered cupcakes by every other P5 conference....just sayin..


So, getting "beat up" by cupcakes all year long from your conference doesn't really change anything.

 

I’ll give you Oregon State Cal and Colorado are cupcakes but nothing near the cupcakes the SEC likes to play midseason that are about as good as my high school team

 

ah yes, because Nevada and Montana are lightyears ahead of the off-conference games the SEC has...

 

If the acc and sec wanted to come out west for some home and homes I’m sure we could make some noise but last I checked y’all are scared to come past Jerry’s world...

Ps your mid season games are against colleges that barely have football teams

 

UCLA hasnt been relevant for a while. Stanford, while a great school, hasnt really been a force to be reckoned with. UW and Wash St. arent necessarily stone cold killers either.

Hell, even Oregon has been down, compared to previous years.


I'd be completely confident in switching out our cupcakes that we pay quite well (somebody has to keep these programs in the black...) for pretty much all of the above mentioned cupcakes and be quite confident in similar outcomes.

 

LSU plays Utah State (plays Nevada that Oregon plays, went 11-2 last season), Georgia Southern (went 10-3 last year w/ one of those losses being to Clemson), Texas (harder than any game on Oregons schedule), and Northwestern St (this one I give you is easier than most cupcakes anyone schedules).

Sorry...LSU's off-conference smokes Oregon's. Auburn, Nevada, and Montana? I mean c'mon.

 

What makes you think we need to travel to you? Meet in the middle. Neutral field. I'll even give you that.

(Even though we all know that even on your home field, most of those teams arent going to hang with the likes of Clemson or Alabama, even at home.



This is all speculation of course, but if I were a betting man (which I am) I'd put Bama and Clemson in the win column 9/10 times on the road in the PAC. Most of those teams wouldnt see a win. Its a different breed.

USC, Stanford, and maaaaaaybe UW would get a win. One....out of 10 games.


The good news is, Oregon gets to play one of the SEC's cupcakes in Auburn.

So....better make some "noise".

 

Yes because vandy, Tennessee, Kentucky, ole miss, Arkansas, Missouri, South Carolina, and Florida are all power house teams also right?
