Would be nice but I will pass on a 3500psi bomb in my bed while wheeling. Not to mention my little 10lb co2 tank can fill a dozen or more 35" tires from 8psi back to ~35psi, not sure how many a nitrogen tank the same size would do but I'm guessing not nearly as many.

Ah yeah. We did section 4 of the WABDR starting at Cashmere and made our way to the lake, but skipped the actual town of Chelan. Did 1-3 last year but this time we just took it easy and did less driving.

Coworker of mine is swapping a 70's ford on top of a lincoln town car. Total cost should be ~3k. The donor towncar in good mechanical condition was picked up for less than a grand.

Nothing real crazy that needs armor. Mainly be prepared to air down. Once you get to the east side it gets bumpy.

Honestly if you stick to the path on WABDR you can do it with a stock 4x4. We took some side trips where you would at least need sliders for a piece of mind. In section 4 I only felt my front skid ding a few times, but that was because I was hauling ass over some bumps for fun.

You will get a ton of trail pinstriping though, but I buff out all of my little scratches at the end of summer so I don't really mind (see link in my sig)

    Hey fellers,

Sold my DCLB OR and bought a DCSB sport with the stick. If I want to build it out for 85% of the trails in Eastern and some in Western WA, what will I need. I am going with 32" Duratracs because I have had the best luck with those and know the tires well. My plan was 5100s, but after talking to Jon I am looking at OME shocks, 885s, Deaver AAL. Next step will be ARB compressor, rear locker, tacomapoclypse bed rack and a Simpson RTT. Looking at trails around Naches, Chelan, etc how much armor, how soon should I worry about a winch stuff like that? I haven't driven any of them and that would be the best way to find out but, I also don't want to get stranded on any of them if I go in un-prepared.... I did do a lot of off-road stuff in HS, tend to be slow and steady more than "give it the beans" kind of a person.

ETA: as I was making my post I see some answers hehehe
