Continuing my repair work of surface rust I ran across a bracket I can’t find the part number for. I’ve found that it’s part of the air conditioner suction hose, but can’t get the number of the specific bracket. Please see below for pics.

Related question: I want to sand down and repair the rust on the inner fender. What grit sand paper should I use and anyone have tips on the repair (type of paint, sealant to prevent further rust, prep advice)?70F7E52E-24C9-4E72-9CDA-BD009930B06D.jpg03490265-7671-4DB4-BC2F-CBE31EE5954E.jpg

Gotcha. Assumed they might but all the pictures I found of the hoses being sold didn’t show them on there. I don’t think the hose itself is damaged or in need of repair so it might be a waste to purchase the whole thing.

Don't get hung up on the exterior vehicle pages. Dig in to the part with rust encapsulator and how to use/finish. It's their version of POR15

www.eastwood.com will give good ideas on tools and products, even if you don't buy from them

The brackets should be removable, but may not be separately purchasable new. A wrecking yard is optional if they are too far gone to restore.

Another option would be to fab your own from some scrap galvanized or aluminum material, reusing the bushing (a very important item)
