A girl my dad raised was left eye dom, but she shot pistol and rifle right handed. She would look out the corner of her eye and was dead accurate. She looked goofy as hell doing it.

yeah thats quite common. I'd try a few bows out at a shop to see which feels the best for you.

Im left eye dominant, but shoot right handed. Ive just learned to focus on my right eye and through the peep. But nothing says you cant go to left handed bow. just find what is most comfortable for you. You really dont need a lot of power, 50-60lb draw is plenty to kill a deer or elk.

    On edit.

I watched archery championships and saw this young lady shooting rt handed while using her left eye. Very strange.

I've done some of those four fletch with the Max Hunters. The fly good. Also have a lot of Max stealth 3 fletch also fly pretty good. Interested in seeing the Pro Max's in action. Thought six would be great because they are so small. Kinda surprised AAE is not more popular. I never see them at shops.

My shafts ended up going left when I indexed them, so mine are left helical.

Bitzenburger (I may have spelled it wrong) with the Zenith upgrade. I like using wraps too. So easy to remove when you need too.

You notice how bright your arrow is and fly when it's all one color at the end? Looks like a beam of light in the air.

I use the same fletching jig and Zenith upgrade as well. Totally love the benefits of the wrap, but a little extra weight (4 fletch and wrap) in the back offset my FOC some so I added a little weight to the front, all good now.

How many grains you running up front? 125 for me. I want to get those brass inserts so I can go to 100. 100 is far more common to find broadheads and points in.

Nice, yeah you're doing what I plan on. I haven't decided on the next arrows I want. Looking at Easton Axis or FMJ's.

I'm running Axis 300s with 4 fletch max hunter, wraps, lighted nocks, 50gr brass, 100 grain Iron Will broad heads and their 25 grain collars. 550 grain arrow at 280fps. I don't think even Sasquatch could survive getting hit by that

AAE vanes aren't as popular among "regular" archers because of all the extra work into putting them on. Wipes, primer pen, special glue. But they do hold that's for sure. I haven't found the max stealth to be very durable though.

Yeah, I think I'm the only person out of the guys I shoot with that makes arrows. Most are just happy buying them built which is fine. I just like doing things myself though.

I wish I was more into archery. Never really had anyone of my friends really into it. Bought a new bow a few years ago to try early hunts, but just too freakin’ hot where I was in eastern NC. Maybe one day i’ll at least match my veins to the broad head. I just get as close as I can trying different heads to shafts.Really only shot small game and missed the deer when I had the chance..

I am hoping to change that this year. Heading to Oklahoma Oct.2-9 to visit some family. My cousin has already built a blind on the farm. Bow is restrung and hopefully will find my first out of state deer this fall archery!

Good luck! I've been bowhunting for 30 years and I still get excited thinking about it. I truly hope the same happens to you.

Cabela's/Bass Pro has Muzzy 3 blade 100 gr and 125 gr on sale starting tomorrow. Regular price is about $40 per 6, sale price is under $20. For those that shoot them, it's a great time to stock up!

What are you running right now? My friend has used both Axis and FMJ's with good success and runs Axis now and likes a three fletch right helical.

I've become a fan of Black Eagle as they measure straitness over the entire 32" of the arrow, just 28" inches of it like other manufactures do. I don't have to mess around cutting both ends.
