bet you match all those teams up against Cal, Colorado, Washington state, Arizona, Arizona state, Oregon state, Utah, and UCLA and they get a winning record overall.

Pac-12 has 5 teams ranked 12-25 in the coaches poll. SEC has 5 teams ranked top 11 all higher than any Pac-12 team lolololol

Give your teams a 9th conference game like we play and I’m sure those “meaningful” poll rankings would drop.

Um....Kentucky was hunting for the SEC East divisional against Georgia....so, I'll take UK over any Pac12 team right now.

However, I'd like to mention that the teams you listed have to play against the LSU's, Alabama's, Georgia's, Texas A&M's of the SEC....all season long...so while they are the bottom of the barrel right now in the conference, they actually play tough season teams in conference.

    ASU vs. Colorado....watch out now.

they've been trying to, some are lobbying for it. they say playing all in conference doesn't prove your strength against any of the others (cough cough Big 12) lol.

LSU plays Texas as an off-conference. So that's 8 SEC games and TEXAS. Sorry, that's a harder schedule for the last 87 years than Oregon plays.

I think the SEC should drop Missouri and add a UW or Oregon or hell even USC for one season.

Let them run through the SEC gauntlet and see how it goes.

I think it would be interesting.

Honestly, USC is probably the only other team besides Stanford that pulls recruits big and fast enough that can take a beating for an entire season and make it out the other side.

Could you imagine poor ASU or Arizona.

They'd probably have to quit after about week 5. Especially if they got an LSU/ALABAMA and then a following week of UGA or Auburn/Texas A&M early in the season.

Also, I'd like to see the compilation of data for each conference's "cupcake" schedule and what denotes a "cupcake".

I know Alabama plays cupcakes, I dont really like it. We pay em some hush money to play us.

Opening with Duke is laughable when they say they wanted to schedule a P5 team. I'm guessing nobody else wanted to schedule the first game of the year against Alabama.....considering they've started their seasons with Michigan, Wisconsin, USC, Florida State in the past and it hasn't worked out too well for those opponents.

my own personal opinion of "cupcake" is non-power 5 schools, or a P5 that consistently finishes in the bottom half of it's conference. now, that's "cupcake" for SEC...other conferences get other definitions of cupcakes, because for them playing the Montana Grizzlies is just an unbelievable task.

Alabama is probably going to be down this year...so, if anyone has an opportunity to smack the big elephant in the room....you better do it.

Clemson really hurt us.....Saban is dying. The ship is sinking. We cant keep coordinators and assistants because they keep leaving for bigger roles. Shit recruiting classes. Tua's last year. Tua 2.0 isnt as good.

    Its over.

Exactly. Everyone always wants to harp on the SEC for the "cupcake" scheduling....but....When you compare it to other conferences and teams "cupcakes" its so lopsided.

What exactly is the difference between Alabama vs. Chattinghamburg State School for the Blind and Alabama vs. Boise St.?

    Hint: Nothing. Alabama wins both.
