Nice! I think I seen 3rd gen owners putting it in the little cubby on the left side of the steering wheel.

Does your truck pull that camper pretty good? Are you regeared at all?

It’s does fine. You know it’s back there for sure. Does the average 8 mpg hauling the camper. You can drop some weight on those by getting the one without the slider on it. They didn’t have any when we went to get ours. Looking back now, I’d rather have the slider because it gives you so much more room inside.

Not regeared at all and on 285’s with a 3” lift. I use a EAZ-Lift Recurve R3 hitch with it. I really like it because the bars are on top of the trailer frame instead of underneath it. Also don’t have to deal with the chains on the bars. Mine clips right into the slots on the trailer and throw a locking pin in it.

Lock the ball on then lift the trailer up till the bars slide into the mounts. Lower it and you’re ready to go besides hooking the safety chains and cable up.

Not a pic of mine but the same thing.

I do. I use the regular Pitfaced meat massage and it’s really good. Tastes spicy by it self but it’s not once on the meat and cooked. My son eats the hell out of it.

What’s a PF Pro series? One of the drum smokers?

Oh. You said Pit Faced so I thought you meant one of Bryan’s smokers. Lol

I don’t have any experience with the pellet poopers. I use a offset stick burner and have been very happy with it. I’ve used one of the Bradley electric smokers before and they’re ok. I just prefer the food off of a regular smoker burning real wood in it.

    This is mine.

Next one will be a dedicated smoker only without the propane grill in it on the side. It will also probably be a reverse flow smoker but built the same way with a offset fire box.

I don’t really either. I only keep about about a dozen of the big splits around to cook with. Usually its leftover oak from a camping trip. I source it locally though. I’ll start with lump and then keep it going with oak plus whatever smoking wood chunks I’m using.

Main reason is I can cook with lump by itself or oak if it’s here. That was one of the reasons I didn’t get a Bradley smoker. I don’t want to have to keep a special fuel for it on hand.

I can get that. That’s the beauty of the pellet poopers. I just like sitting out there and stoking the fire.
