2.5. If it was only 2.7's that had that I had no idea. Jumping in deep with this one.

I think it was 2.7 and up had it. And damn dude you are going straight to a 2.5 pulley on your blower as soon as you get it??

    Go big or go home...

I do keep debating on going 2.7 or 2.8 to give it some time but since ill have it all apart and so far I have most of the stuff to go with supporting the 2.5 except HPT seems to make the most sense. need more power...

I stayed with the 3.0 for awhile, went to the 2.85. I am ready for a 2.7 now. I cannot imagine how it would feel going from NA to a 2.5 force fed. It’s gonna feel like a rocketship for sure!

yah its going to be a WTF moment for sure. I may or may not have Won the Supercharger in a raffle so my decisions are a bit irrational at the moment. Let the fun begin...

Whats everyones take on 2.5" vs 3" exhaust piping?

Dumb CA and I need it to be easier to smog (well see about that) so cant to the jfr equal length setup. Will need to modify the Y Pipe and then ill replace the cat back to said size and leaning toward the Venom 250 muffler so she can breath better.

3 inch is completely unnecessary for the power levels we are pushing and wouldn't be necessary until about 500HP. 2.5 from the Y rearward coupled with that muffler will get you some really nice breathing power out of it.

Sounds good to me. Have not replace any exhaust stuff (besides the reroute) since my HS tuner days.

I really wish I did a reroute because I have been sick of this skid plate exhaust rattle from the crossover portion of the Y since I put it on.

I was actually debating experimenting with 2.25” piping but then quickly realized I’m cheap. And that everything from the header collector back is now 2.5”. Symmetry for my ocd.

Makes sense. I will go with 2.5 as well. I may get that done before the SC to get it out of the way. Muffler ordered just need to get the truck to the shop for some piping.

You’re forgetting your SPAL fans and controller.
Also missing Exhaust Cam Gears and UCON (or other Ecu)
