What happens after the 3rd? Dealers will still have Tacos and the promotion will be over... and nobody wins.

Agree. However, I don't think that you have to wait until the end of the year or new model to get a good deal. This my third taco and I got 12% off the msrp on all of them. I just walk into the stealership and tell them my numbers. Sometimes You may have to go to different stealerships, but if that saves you a couple of thousands, i believe is well worth it.

They have had deals for the past few months. The deals havent changed. I still found my truck for 2k less than the "current deals" for the exact truck im seeing at some other dealerships. Best bet is the find the truck you want be flexible on the color and get prices at multiple dealerships. (and get the prices in writing , email, text)

Definitely! I emailed all the local dealers for quotes along with Truecar in order to lock in a price before ever walking in there. Took a little bit of time but was totally worth it

Running around to all the dealerships to find the best price seems like such old school. There is a family of dealerships, owned by the same person, in my area that posts their lowest price on the window. If you don't like the price too bad they do not haggle. Although they do offer the lowest prices in the state so there really is no need to haggle. In and out in less than an hour and no back and forth bullshit. Bought my 18 OR tech/premium last year at this time for 31,500. One dealership, one sales person and none of the run around. That's the way it should be.

Did it say how big the rebates are? They're not as big as the $5k rebate they were giving for the RAV4 is it?

Kind of sucks that I bought my 2019 when I did. I bought mine when they were giving a $750 rebate and based on the last time I shopped for trucks I thought that was pretty good for a Tacoma.

But then soon after they doubled it to $1500, which I think is also around the time the Rangers were rolling out. Or maybe it was just $1k, my memory is a bit fuzzy on it.

Ideally I would've waited but wanted/needed a new vehicle at the time. So try not to think about it or look at it too much.

Either way I hope people are able to get good deals on a 2019!

Certain Tundra models in my area (Montana) are seven grand off. Even the PRO models are a few thousand off. Tacoma’s are three grand off

Dealership here has 5 or 6 TRD Pro Tacoma's and they're just not selling. I think they're a waste cause I modify everything so I get a good laugh when I go in for service.

What part are you in? Think I heard before but don’t remember. I bought last Jan, but my 08’ was also totaled so I couldn’t wait too long. Also only had Billings and Bozeman (2hrs away) to deal with. Wanting a cement OR DCSB, limited me even more. Had to go with MSRP when it needed to be a state to state dealer swap.

It blows me away when i see people with the highest trim that paid alot for those features and then they take them off for aftermarket stuff.

Hot damn. $5k under MSRP, should have waited. Would have totally offset my trade in. But then I probably would have been tempted to wait for the 2020. I can never win but I love my 19 OR and almost a year in ownership.
