And me! Because I'm not north enough to be Fredvegas, just stuck equidistantly between Richmond and Fredricksburg.

Hmmmm. 2nd gen? Yeah, maybe. I've been looking at roof racks but kind of don't want to spend the money right now. Could be a short term solution. What are you looking to get for them?

Honestly not looking for much. More of offer what you feel is worthwhile. If you feel it isn't worth anything then come pick it up, if you think alchohol then bring a bottle, if you just want me to shut the hell up then that is fair too. May need new hardware as I haven't removed it yet.

:quickdraw: Ol' quickdraw here. Hahaha. Honestly, I really just need them for my beach trip at the end of next month. I think ultimately I'll end up with a topper and some brand of rack system from front to back.

Hit me in the DM's. Everything is worth something, especially when one person needs it. Not that it requires it, but I could help you take them off too. Looking at it on your truck (creeping your build currently) it appears you would maybe need my rubber trim as well? I haven't looked at the OEM rack honestly.

Yeah right now I have a setup on the shell for the yaks, but if I throw the canoe up there it'll sit real high in the rear and I'd like to have it sit more level. Eventually I'll probably move to a prinsu or Prerunner rack so I can mount some cross bars on top of it to get the height to match the mid rise cap.

Ah gotcha. Yeah I've been looking at the Victory's. But would kind of like to nail my plan down 100% before I invest that much in a roof rack. That being said, I need to take my yaks to Hatteras next month, and am going to need the bed space for all the other shit that goes along with a week-long vacation with a wife and a medium size dog.

I like the way the mid rise's look

Yeah, I almost bought a 16 with a reg cap, but opened it up and realized you couldn't even move a couch with the cap on. Found this one in Springfield and glad I waited for the 4.0 6-Cyl and the mid rise, it has been exactly what we've been wanting for a long time.

As for the front I was thinking an OEM roof rack with some costum riser cross bars would level out the canoe, or I'll do a styrofoam block on the roof until I have the money to invest in a full up storage rack up on the DC. Haven't looked too much as I know I don't have the money for it at current but just noticed the ones people have added posted and like the Prinsu or Prerunner style.

Think I'm gonna work on the camping platform for the bed this weekend seeing as the wife wants to stop by for some shelving for the kids room.

I would make sure whoever buys it trades you their drip molding since they won’t need theirs but you will since the roof rack has it included.

That's another reason I'm still undecided on my trucks final form. I'm interested in a softoper since it can be easily removed.

Your wife: It's going to take ALL this lumber to build some shelves!?:rofl::rofl:

10' 2x6 cut into two pieces to drop in the slats on the bedliner and sheet of plywood split into two panels covered in carpeting and maybe even some foam...following a variation of the plans shown here:

Hahaha I'm stupid, I get what you were saying now. She's on board with the platform build...want it so we can go camp at music festivals and the likes for get away weekends when grandparents lay dibs for sleepovers.

I still have all my stock drip covers so those won't be needed. I just need to figure out the time to do it. Probably end up being like 2 or 3 am one night on a spur of the moment decision.
