    I follow the 1 second per 10 mph rule for following vehicles. If I'm going 50 mph I want to
    be 5 seconds behind the vehicle in front of me. This gives me plenty of time to slam on my breaks
    or perform evasive maneuvers. :burnrubber:

    Yep, if I left that kind of gap here in so cal, I'd never make it anywhere. Our freeways are the suck. (looking at you 405)
