see later comments, I'm not an SEC only kinda person.

But when some BIG-12 fan is seemingly claiming that their ENTIRE conference is better than the ENTIRE SEC conference, then I will go out and actually defend the ENTIRE SEC conference and say it is better....because factually over my lifetime...it is. Other conference fans really like to dwell on 1 game, and not an entire body of work.

 

Historically, it’s cyclical. You could make the argument that the B12, B10, or evening the Big East owned it for a while. Never the ACC or PAC-10/12, though.

I would argue on most days that middle down Big 12 is better than SEC’s, but not the top.

 

I'm sorry, but the SEC is 93-78-6 against the Big12 all time.

SEC > BIG12

 

The SEC as a whole actually only has a losing record to 1 conference, the Big East.

that record is 25-29.

That said, I don’t like the Big 12 short of the money. Oliver Luck got us in and then hired the worst fucking coach ever, and now we’re probably going to be even worse because his shit recruiting is going to fall on our new coach.

Luck is now running the soon to be cancelled XFL 2.0, if that tells you anything about his decision making.

 

Not surprising. Before ESPN basically funded the ACC to pull teams, the BE was great in football and basketball.

I was born in 1991. Since 1991 the record is 51-37 SEC.

So still, the SEC > BIG12.

 

My team has a winning record vs SEC since 2000, before we joined the B12.

hilariously the only team to blow us out was a Les Mile’s LSU. Hardly makes sense.

I get that, but you came in here firing on all cylinders how funny it is to see an SEC school fan defend the whole conference....and then when I used statistics to prove it you then fell to a "team" instead of "conference" set of comments.
