Sad day here, however picking up a TRD OR tomorrow in the Cement Gray. Pretty bad ass truck.

That’s a heavy front end impact! I hope you’re okay.

By the way, congratulations on your new Tacoma!

That looks incredibly painful. Hope you didn’t refuse medical attention even if you were able to walk away from that.

Sorry for your loss, but congrats on the new cement gray!

No I got everything from crutchfield it was easy to hook up . I paid the 24 bucks to have make The wiring harness so it was pretty much plug and play and it looks like a factory install.

Believe it or not, walked away with out a scratch. The safety of Tacoma’s I believe are way underrated. This is now my 4th Tacoma... until this Cement Gray, my 1st gen was by far my favorite.

I saw that pic and noticed that the cab didn't look compromised at all and doesn't look like the windshield even broke. Nice to see from the safety point of view, sorry about your truck though and glad you are ok.

Removed the front air dam with my son’s help. I like the look much better.

Very nice. How’s the ride compared to the stockers? Assuming you had the hankook 245’s like I do.

I ended up putting the air dam back on. looks fine to me. gas mileage is a lot better. No problem cruising at 80 on the highway averaging near 25mpg. before i wouldn't drive it past 70 cause my mileage would be like 18. around town it went from averaging 17-18 to 20-21.

I thought about taking mine off but figured Toyota engineers designed and put it on my truck for a reason. I don't mind the looks of it either.

The only reason for it is to squeeze out an MPG or two for the EPA. The OR and Pro don’t have it, and no matter the trim level, they just plain look better without it imo.

I love the utility package access cab but I didn't like the split levels in the back of the cab so this weekend I designed & made an aluminum platform that bolts into the cab. It utilizes the factory storage box along the back of the cab and has 2 more tool/storage cubbies in front of that! Best thing is its all a flat plane for easy loading and storage of all kinds of stuff!

I am letting the truck bed liner cure overnight before I bolt it all in but here is a few pics to show the idea of the system. I will probably make a thread tomorrow covering the install of this platform system.

The picture of it in the cab is before I countersunk the holes for flat head hardware and coated all the components.

My latches didnt arrive in time to install this weekend but they will be flush mount as well
