I was going to do the OVTune initially since I have it for my N/A but you guys are selling me hard on HTP and seems to be more supported in the group as a whole.

I have the slotted and drilled rotors and performance is good but I get a lot of rocks stuck in the drilled holes and they eat the pads away unevenly. My only complaint. Other than that they have been great.

Yah that has been my biggest gripe. I recall you being in there for the TRD tune. With the N/A 4.0 its pretty much a lot cause. The TRD tune if anything has more chance. Seemed like a nice setup. Its been great with the N/A with what he initially did.

But as noted if I can get help from this group in a shorter time frame then its the way to go. Just a bummer I will need to rebuy stuff to run HPT

If I decide to go with a 2.7 or 2.8 Pulley what items can I defer?

Assuming FuelPump, Ratiotek, Pulleywrap, Radiator, HPT (although may still be good)

I want to get out and enjoy the SC ASAP so may step back a bit. Well see if it really happens. Limited time is the hard part.

    Got a little excited...

I stay away from drilled rotors because by drilling into them you are substantially weakening the overall material unless you are going with some very high quality, very expensive stuff and are opening up the chances to getting cracks in the rotors or cracking a rotor as a whole, which I have seen happen quite a bit.

I'm pretty sure you are in it. I'm almost positive actually.

Woo hoo finally getting rid of this belt squeak today and putting in a Gates RPM belt! I'm looking forward to finally running this gem and reclaiming a quiet idle back, as well as some lost boost. :D

Highly agreed! I don't know why but I totally thought you were on the list prior. It must be because I've seen your name all over the blower threads recently. Lol.

I want the a761 kit. Same shit but with a couple more springs. A750 kit works for my transmission too but yea, add a couple springs to make it worth that $20. Also this one doesn’t seem to be available anywhere.

I'm just gonna go ahead and send it.

I would call Ratiotek directly then.

It may be necessary for his valve body where as for ours it is not.

I honestly have no idea. Both are advertised to work for the a761e but not the other way around.
