Well 3.5 hour drive took 4.5 hours but we are definitely in the mountains of New Hampshire. The truck did fine but even with the larger trans cooler the steep grades put the transmission to work and it reached 232F. Ended up all the way down to 2nd a few times. Fingers crossed we get the wife an expedition at the end of her lease. California is literally at a lake in the mountains. Great views to be had. Off to Santa's village today. I'll make sure to take some pictures today.

RinseKit + (adventure bundle) was $179 with code for $20 off

took it out of the box, with the commercial box inside of it..
    included in the box was:
box with resivoir, hose, and nozzle ready to go with 2 screw off plastic caps on heater, and booster pump holes
    sink adapter (brass)
garden hose adapter (plastic) both adapters link into the nozzles quick adapter
heater rod with thread adapter, and wrench for both sizes
boost pump with integrated guage (65PSI max)
silicone flat collapsible refill funnel for refilling unit in trail/where no running water is available..
super soft quick drying towel/seat cover (its like a chamois cloth)

everything was well packaged, and even in their boxes they fit into the rinsekit + case.

    Setup"
Instructions were kinda vague, but I understood the principle of the device so intuitive for me, but would have been nice of them to specify which port for the heater rod, and which is for the booster pump.. I put the booster pump on the left side, and the heater rod in the right port (more centered on the unit)

within 5 minutes I was screwing the heater rod, and the booster pump into the base.. came with a wrench of the heater rod, and thread adapter.. the hose length is such that at 6'3" I can leave the base on the ground, and hold the nozzle over my head. hose is probably 1/2" OD cloth covered hose.. heater rod cord is around 8ft.. and the booster pump handle sits proud of the mount surface about 3 inches, and pumping it is super easy (not hard to push down at all)..

    1st use:
I hooked up the provided brass nozzle to my kitchen sink, no issues and filled with warm water.. took about 2 minutes to fill on town water 60PSI on 1/2" PEX.. I made hte mistake of not tightening the booster pump all the way,, and some water came out the threads.. I turned off the sink spigot, and turned the hose line shutoff valve.. I tightened the pump down (has a top o-ring), and turned the valve, and water faucet back on, and ran for another 20 seconds.. turned the fill valve off first, then the faucet as er instructions, to keep pressure in the unit. I removes the quick connect from the sink adapter and moved the unit outside to test it.. I gave the booster pump a few pumps, attached the sprayer nozzle and was suprised at the pressure it had.. easily on par with my garden hose, albeit a bit less flow (GPM) due to the smaller hose diameter.. the nozzle does feel a bit cheap (and it leaks a few drips, and I may replace it later with a nicer metal orbital nozzle) (i believe the quick connect is a standard garden hose plastic type).. the unit I tried on all spray patterns on the nozzle... mist, shower, jet, center, and angled. ( I believe these are the settings on it, at work now).. the center seems to be the best all around pattern for cleaning/rinsing/showering, with shower being second, but loses pressure, and uses water faster...

I drained it dry through the hose, and packed everything into the hard case.. I had a prior engagement to go to.. will do more testing on it tonight.. specifically the heater rod on my 12v outlet in the Tacoma...

does the trans cooler have an independent fan? or is it relying on the engine cooling fan? you may want to look into either a temp controlled trans cooler fan, or an additional cooler would do it for you..

    So no....

Sounds like me; I've got a huge bag of green beans that need to be canned, I'm picking up a 1/2 bushel of cukes tonight for pickles, and then I'm getting started on a woodshed for the cookstove in the addition (so I don't need to tramp through the whole house with armloads of wood).

Ugggh, I've got a cluster fvck of a bachelor party to basically run and I'm not even in the wedding party. The best man is border line retarded and the most horrific drunk I have ever met. The groom is big into motorcycles, the best man called me a month ago and asking if I could help him set up a track day as the party, I'm like "Henry, a track day is a big deal and going to cost us a shitload and you are asking a month prior? Not happening." I asked him to think of something else, so then he wanted to do F1 cart racing, the new Casino in Boston, a shooting range, lobster dinner in Boston then the breweries... I spent the past 3 weeks trying to get it through his head to tone it down, and in the end the groom wouldn't let me take it over so now nothing is happening. In the final hour I got a skeet shooting range to be able to host somewhat of an event, shoot some clays, but the best man never called me back now that ship has sailed. I'm done. I have 5 people coming to my house tonight, I guess we are getting drunk and that's the only fucking plan. Unreal. That's the only good news, it's only 6 of us total.

Sounds like my buddies bachelor party.. I was working doubles up until the day.. was told last minute to make the plans.. only thing other guy had setup was the hotel to stay at in portland.. I had to arrange transport for 6+ people (had rented a minivan to get us around, and wound up having to cancel it last minute, because no-one wanted to help out with $20 for the rental.. had to make last minute reservationsfor sebago brewery in Portland, hit up the bars in old port (total mistake here, all college attendees (I was 32 at the time, felt old).. then a trip to platinum plus for some strippers.. and then back to the hotel.... was a good time.. but sebago was a mistake.. must have been a new cook, cause my burger was still moo'ing, and the Hefeweizen was nasty.. tasted like bitter orange rhind and salt..... old port was ok, but a bit underaged for my tastes. strip[ club was ok.. hotel was definitly budget.. literally 6 blocks down from the strip club..... all in all it was ok, but we could have done much better with some planning..

Going to Hampton Beach tomorrow night with wife and dog then to Browns for seafood. Gonna take my small saltwater rod and cast some plugs out behind the restaurant
