yup the hardcore ones don't support birth control even within a marriage because sex should only be used for procreation according to them. Which is why you see so many Uber-religious families with 10+ kids lol.

actually it was more my mom and her side of the family, my dad never really believed in any of it but for some reason went along with it all lol.

My mom wasn't so much of a 'fundamentalist' but that whole "you were born of sin and you need to praise Jesus to be forgiven" was the underlying current to pretty much everything. Oh and the fucking Jesus summer camps....those songs still haunt me.

I did the summer camps and all that, went to "Twin Peaks Bible Camp" on multiple occasions. Sometimes the tunes get stuck in my head :/

I was going to feel guilty about not going to my dad's 60th birthday this weekend but we're not close and going would result in me feeling even worse than if I don't.
