Anyone ever heard of these tires? I'm really tempted to order them. A set of 35s are going for 845 shipped.

kenda makes some killer wheelchair tires... kidding but not kidding. I know they make some decent bike tires. probably make some decent mud terrains too. I don't think I'd try em, cause I'm not really into spending a g on hope and a prayer, but you don't know what you don't know. I do know that this post probably hasn't helped you at all. sorry. :notsure:

I've heard good things about the Nankang Mudstars, similarly priced too

If you're ballin' on a budget then yeah, but if you have a couple extra hundos to spend i'd much rather get something with a sidewall :anonymous:

So would I but I'm gonna guess these guys looking at $500 and $800 sets of 35s aren't expecting much

haha true. At that price point i'd opt for the Pattys, but if OP wants to experiment and be a guinea pig power to him :bikewheelie:

Hey hey... when I find a brand I like I stick to them lol havent failed me yet and they warrantied out a set that I chunked bad wheeling! My pinch welds were cutting into them real bad but they still did a warranty credit on them. Gave me 80% off a new set.

My initial purchase was through simpletire.com. I had direct contact with falken customer service and they told me to take it to my nearest discount tire for a warranty verification. An employee at discount then called falken and gave them info and then falken gave me credit for how much treat life I had left, which was 80% so basically i got 80% like 600 bucks to apply towards another tire purchase. I stuck with falken because of that customer service but I could have applied it to any brand.

    I know, this is old.
Just in case anyone shows up here still interested.
I had the Kenda Klevers on my old Trailblazer, the (used car) dealer put them on brand new as part of my purchase deal. I had ~35k on them when I sold the TB.
They held up well, albeit a little louder on the road than a Cooper or Falken.
They took me all over the Appalachian Mountains and Monongahela, Cherokee and Nantahala National Forest trails without complaint.
I hit the beach on Hatteras Island in NC, they did alright but I was not able to air down at the time so I'm sure they would have done better.
My buddy who bought it from me put the same Kendas on when he finally replaced them. I'm not certain of how many more miles he had put on them.

They also do make good bicycle and Motorcycle tires, those are popular in Japan as I have found.
