Good afternoon from Calgary!

 

Had a good day mowing until the end. Finished up the first field, was headed back to the pole barn. Had mower bar up, heard a snap, and mower dropped to the ground. A pin in the linkage to right side sheared, breaking other parts as well. Rigged her up and limped into pole barn. Could have been worst, out in the middle of field. Now comes the fun part of informing Dad. Might wait till Sunday so he has a couple days to heal from his eye surgery. Thought I was getting ahead of the game. Always something.

 

Tim Horton's not sure why their coffee tastes good.

This would have been a real issue with my dad.

Screw something up and he would let you know.

 

That was then... This is now. No harsh scolding.

 

Dinner at Outback. Not my favorite anyway. Service was the usual s.l.o.w. Server was wanting to tell her life story. Food took forever. Entre BEFORE salad. My filet was good. Wife's sirloin not so much.

Then $78 check.

I could have crushed the truck with White Castles for $78

 

Had my tail spanked daily back in the day.

 

Hate that happened,when i first got married ,borrowed FIL:s sprayer he built.hit a fence with the right boom and broke it off..hard to take it back and show him.but as always he just said dont worry we will fix it

 

Yeah that's the luck I have. If you expand my pix of the sheared pin, it appears to have a rust line indicating a prior fracture.
