    Posted speed limit on I-95 in Florida is 70mph, which most people in Florida consider just a suggestion. 55-60, towing or not, will get you rear-ended in a heartbeat on that stretch of road. Even doing 70 has everybody blowing past. I was turning 3000 rpm at just over 70, I could live with that. Scangauge was showing 195-198 coolant temp most of the time, trans temps less than 200, and it was low 90's outside temp.

    Like I said, in Florida it's only considered a suggestion. I had duallies pulling 35 foot 5th wheel trailers passing me.

    I don't think there is any state where the towing speed limit is above 65 mph. Doesn't mean that people obey the law. I'm sure it might be held against you in some accidents.
