Anyone had better luck with one brand versus the other? Wanting the white and really bright bulbs.

I run OPT 7 bulbs no problem and great output. Works rlly well with the factory projector low beam. Haven’t changed high beams

The factory Tacoma projector is more forgiving to leds than most may think but it won’t throw light as far as your stock halogens.

OP... If you do decide to go with LED bulbs after your light reading. I have some xenon depot pro LEDs I'm selling.

I may try those Sylvania halogen bulbs and see how they work. Thanks for the feedback

You will not gain anything by replacing the stock lights with LED's. (except maybe . . ."oh shit, my truck won't start")

Thanx TailHook. This article is beyond legit. I read it twice and pondered the physics of what Crashnburn was saying. Makes 10,000% sense.
I don't want to opt for an entire replacement u less it is for HIDs. Had those in a 2010 Subaru STi, would love to make the swap some day.
Thinking about some Sylvania UltraStar Halogen drop in bulbs. The stock bulbs are anemic at best. Can't see shit in these Minnesota snow storms. Cant stand those DBags blinding me with LEDs in Halogen reflectors.
