I'm definitely gonna get some at3w's. Haven't decided on a lift yet. I'm putting on a SR5 grill bezel (black) tomorrow.

I like the truck a lot as is. Myself, if you are looking for a little more “aggro” look, I would put a set of Ko2s in the stock size. If that satisfies you, you’re done. It may also inspire more mods.....then the flood gate opens.

The reason I suggest K02s is they ride quiet on the street, but look super aggressive from the side due to the sidewall tread. They do a lot for appearances without losing road manners.

    One truth about Toyota pickups:

A lot of guys mod the shit out of their first Tacoma and make everyone jealous of their burly Tacos with roof boxes and 35”s and plate bumpers, and aircraft landing lights.

Those same fellas will often build a much simpler truck the second time around with just good tires, a mild lift, and maybe a set of auxiliary lights. These are the guys who comment “nice clean truck”, “clean build”, etc. when they see a truck that isn’t over-done. They know there’s some wisdom in these subtle builds.

With Tacoma’s less can be more. Start with tires, and see where you stand.

Love the look as is; not many Limiteds on the road. Maybe just lose the mudflaps. Background shot is cool as hell.

What is this lingering black wheel fascination? Isn’t that over yet?

OP it looks good. Log off.

My vote is with the ditching chrome and a more aggressive tire.
I still need to get rid of some chrome myself :anonymous:
