I drove one of those. Was not impressed with the way it shifted.

 

Don't care for the cvt in any vehicle. It's just wrong. They really are the death of humanity...

The one in the RAV I drove never seemed to have the power right when I needed it. Sorta like the Fiat 500 I've had to drive lately. Very poor torque application at the right moment.

 

Belongs to my brother's GF. It is not an abarth. It is green tho. You'd like it.

I was driving it while the Corolla was in the shop.

 

We drove one a few weeks back just to check it out. It was one of the off road ones, forget the package name. Anywho it was the first vehicle I had driven with the lane assist/auto cruise. Although it was neat I didn't like how the lane assist kept us closer to the yellow line vs. the white line and would fight me when I wanted to try and move away from the center. I thought the seats were super comy, was wondering if they would fit in the taco.

I wonder if Boulder Basin sees more traffic now. Seems like they didn't really do it justice in their video, so hopefully the same thing will happen...

Did a bunch of fishing up on the pass and then just cruised through Dub.

Didn't look like it based on what we saw the other day.

 

well it already saw plenty of traffic. A Jeep Jamboree and UTV event is held in the Big Horns ever year.

Though I was talking with some people recently on how social media is impacting people and travel. A lot of people are going to places to replicate photos a lot more with little respect for why they are there. Its a big change in the people using outdoor spaces.

Replaced all the rear links bushings last night on grants rig. Wow some were bad. Might wanna check yours out Dan and Ben.



Put Rokmen rear links in and poly bushings in everything else.

 

Guess we've always just been there when no one else has then. Always seemed low-travel to me. Perhaps with the snow, hahahaha.

Wouldn't surprise me if mine are shot. I know the rear sway bar link bushings could use some love. But for me, axle seals and new brake shoes first.

 

It was a lot of fun. Hit all the hard lines. I'll get to pictures here at some point.

We were pressed for time, so unfortunately didn't get to spend a lot of time in the area, but did catch all sorts of little brookies out of the creek by the crossing.


BTW - we triple checked with the FS when passing through Cody on Wednesday, and were told there was a huge boulder on the switchbacks of Morrison, which could only be removed by blasting it. It's open from both ends to the switchbacks.

That did mean we got to drive the entire Beartooth highway. Engine survived 2nd gear redline pulls after every corner. I figured that should be how it goes if it did.

I heard about Morrison. They are waiting on federal go ahead to do it. Say it'll take 2-3 weeks once they get the okay. Boulder is supposed to be 10x8x6ish haha pretty damn big.

It's a cool area. The fish are really active up there but none are very big. Fun though.

 

Yeah both if yours I think have quite a bit more miles than this one. Not even 200k on this truck

 

Pray none of you ever need to do this. What a pain.

Lol I had to pull mine apart for the diesel so I could add some relays. Those pins are a pita

 

We had an AEV truck almost burn down because of some trouble at the fuse box.


That got Warranty work though haha

 

Yeah pain for sure. Dental pick worked fairly well. Not looking forward to doing this again in the engine bay haha
