Installed an aux fuse panel and got my little Midland 2m/70cm transceiver wired up. Antenna is mounted on the slick Victory 4x4 mount. I absolutely hate wiring.

Finally got around to wiring up my power tray and cleaning up the rats nest under the hood.

You're a brave man. With a hang over, hot dogs would send me to driving the procaine bus in about 2 minutes. Give me hot black coffee and a nice doughnut or two. After awhile, maybe a bacon, cheese egg biscuit from the FF place of your choice, followed by ice cold 16 oz beer. Yeah man!

Not hard at all. I used a wire coat hanger and pushed it through the bottom of the rubber grommet where the wiring goes through. Taped the wire to it and pulled it through then ran it up under the dash to the hard unit.

Anything that’s meaty and greasy usually does the trick! What works even better for me nowadays is moderation! I really enjoy waking up right before dawn and making the most of my weekends now! Too many days lost in my 20’s! Mostly Saturday’s! But a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit sounds good anytime!

7FB374D7-4060-472F-BB7B-4AB325A09526.jpg Sure do...just a few more weeks and will have my morimoto xb headlights in hand and the exterior color coordination will be completed!

Busy day at the ranch. Especially when your help is working overtime or out of town.cnc 1 gather tools.jpg cnc 2 cut hole in ceiling.jpg cnc 3 hang rigging.jpg cnc 4 all ready to lift.jpg cnc 5 lift time.jpg cnc 6 all in place.jpg cnc 7 now can reach 3 machines from one position.jpg
Now all I need to do is run a new 230 circuit (nothing more fun than pulling 10/3 wire through studs and joists), a new 115 circuit, hookup the voltage regulator, clean and assemble the axis motors, install the coolant pump, hookup the new 22" touchscreen, deburr and load the new vise, and start programming. Then maybe I can make some stuff.

Trust me, after nearly 30 years in machine shops, safety is always first. Still was a bear moving 1100 pounds just where I wanted it but the hard part is done. Now for all the wiring and nuisance work.

I can relate to the lost days, although even getting in at 3am, I was usually able to motivate by noon. That was a long time ago. Now a glass of wine with a fancy dinner three or four times a year and a cold beer when with friends/family doing the same is my wild time.
