Ouch . They dont make a 2 door anymore . Probably a 12ish 2wd gti . I got my R because I wanted a commuter and I'm over 80k on the tacoma . Wanted to keep the mi. down. I plan on keeping the truck . I dont want to pay future truck prices.

My first gen Cooper S was mechanically reliable in the idea that it would always start and stop, but the cluster always had a light on every few weeks, when i sold it she was lit up like a Christmas tree. These was also the never ending oil leaks

Only problem I’ve had is a leaking oil pan and that was recent. I blame myself, the car sits a lot.

 

I would have preferred a 2door . But I wouldn't say they ruined it .

Hard to say,,,,,always had cars all my life until 1994, then went to trucks. Problem was, I spent more useless time washing, polishing, and waxing the cars and lost a lot of valuable life time. With trucks, I have become less OCD in regard to vehicles......Now, it’s the home domestic front that causes my life’s problems. Trucks are a kind of relief, whether I am using it for its “intended” purpose, or just driving around doing routine BS......I feel better driving one.
