20 ton works fine, wish they gave us the press plates with at least one flat side. The lower press plate does have a bit of wobble.

On the weld cart I used a digi coupon but it wasn't valid for Vulcan, Cashier gave it to me anyway.

The plan for today was to install base board in the house, but when I connected my DeWalt finish nailer I got air rushing out from around the trigger. Did some research and found it needs a new trigger cartridge. I call around but no place that would stock such a part is open on Saturday, so I check out HF. This one got a lot of good reviews and for $25 it's worth a shot. So I'm back in business and now have 2 finish nailers.

So, since Lowe's happens to sell craftsman now I figured I would take a broken 1/4" ratchet that has been on my desk for a few months in for exchange. Lady looked at me like i was crazy and told me to call the 1-800 number. It now takes 7-14 days for them to ship me a new tool. They don't even want the core back! What kind of crap is this!?

Anyone know if they will refund me for a recently purchased Item that I didn't use a coupon (for the value of the coupon) If I bring the coupon in? Not going to go through trouble of returning it and then buying it with the coupon.

    Try ACE Hardware...theyre more knowledgeable....

One time my dad brought a Husky screw driver to Home Cheapo. They said you have to call Husky. My dad went home and called. Husky said tell them to replace it. He went back to Home Cheapo and they gave it to him...lol people dont know.

I did a few test firings after oiling it and didn't like the groove it left in the wood. Because this is a 2 in 1 (nail and staple) the indentation left on the wood after firing is the same shape as a staple. Rather than a tiny hole it's a long groove. Not a huge deal, but on small trim it just looks big. I was going to fill in the nail hole anyway, so just more to fill, but I think it will be noticeable even after paint on door trim around eye level. Did you guys see this after painting?

Closest Ace is 24.5 miles from here. Not that desperate to get a new one. Helps that I have at least 6 or 7 in my drawer

A LOT of my oldest tools are Craftsman. Currently have two sockets and a C-clamp to exchange. Been to Lowes, been to the last surviving Sears here (in the process of closing), same call the #.....bullshit. Damn shame and entity like Craftsman has come to this. I'm leaning 'twards Napa's Carlyle line for future purchases. Not hard to find a Napa all over the country, lifetime warranty too, plus don't have to chase a truck.

I've used it for baseboards and stapling. Does the job for cheap.

Is that refund worth the trip to the store? They'll probably cancel and re issue and give you the difference.

Give the old one to a friend and they could do the same thing to get another free one for you. Then you could have 2 of them. Just a thought. It might not be exactly right but they aren't doing you exactly right at the moment either.

Assembled my tool chest today! Got the special edition TRD white one ;)

    Cardboard and foam off:

The chest portion comes assembled but you have to put the legs, bottom tray, casters, handles, struts, etc on. Took about 30 minutes to assemble with the GF helping out.

Got it together and slapped on a sticker I had laying around, had to have it match the truck.

Realllll happy with it. This was mid-reorganizing and now it's almost full already.

Also, living in an apartment and wrenching out of a storage unit sucks, but this makes it slightly better.
