Rare wheels (imput wanted)

Looks like most people don’t like them... well I might have a hard time getting rid of these juicers!

 

That center cap, ugh!!!!!!

 

To get a better idea of how they look take a pic showing the whole truck.
Are they rare because they were expensive limited availability or just unpopular and didn't sell well?

 

I understand that they were only put on a small amount of trucks OEM. Not sure if they were ever sold to general consumers...

I have them, they came on my silver 05 DCLB, I like them, I still have the truck, the center caps, IF you can find them are outrageously priced, as they don't make them anymore, knockoffs are 105$ apiece! So I have 2 left, one side with and the other blank, lol. They came stock like that, I think it was called the Southeast Edition,,,,
I occasionally see a taco or tundra with them around. I'm in Florida

Don't care for the center cap but they look ok on the truck. The size isn't ideal but neither is 19" to me and 20" seems too big sooooo maybe 18" isn't so bad if tire selection was better.

 

Yes my tires are practically bald now so I’m getting new tires no matter what I do!!!

 

I'm a stock wheel person though. To me, most people don't have as good of taste as the guys who design them.

 

There are worse looking wheels out there.

 

I'd sell them for how much the tires are worth +$300 for the wheels.

 

Here you go, old pics off my phone, 18" enkei, it's a 2005 has 250,000 miles on her now, I had just gotten those coopers,,,my wife has this today. Other side is missing those juice caps, lol, I still like em.

 

I like them, but they look more appropriate for a street only use rather than off-roading.

 

They do resemble the S Runner wheel. Never heard of those being valuable either though.

Some day, someone will want to restore one and have to pay through the nose for a set.

 

Painting them black will make them uglier

I kinda like them once you can see the whole vehicle with them.

 

I think they're good looking wheels, change the center caps, it's a different wheel, that truck is completely stock other than little bit bigger tars.
I still look back in the parking lot at that old girl

 

I wouldn’t put those on if they were free.

 

The only problem is if you bash one real bad, you won’t be able to find a cheap replacement.
