    split loom is ok, and offers some protection to the wires, but I prefer this stuff now.....

    new CV axles or did you just put the silicone boots on? looks like you tore the boot for the outer tie rod..

    how do you like the Icon suspension? which level did you go with? been looking more and more at their stuff as prices are decent for the product. kings are a bit out of my price range....

    CVJ Reman CVs icons are awesome!
    Up to 3" I have them at 2.5
    They are a progressive shock, faster is better.
    But I rock crall alot and have no issues.
    Kings are awesome too but problems arise more frequently it seems.

    Dude I love mine. My truck rides like a well tuned sled now. I easily can maintain tracktion with +15mph now in most cases.

    I meant which stage? icon lists their kits in stages 2, 3 4, 5, 6... and so on...

    I was looking at the stage 4... which seems similar to what you have..

    yeah I've been reading up on troubles with all manufacturers kits..

    OME/ARB BP-51s corrode in salt, and paint chips off them the rod guards fall off......
    billsteins are ok, but watch for corrosion especially if you get a threaded body... etc...

    Talked to dissent offroad about the bp-51. I believe they 100% did right customer service wise, but has had nothing but trouble with the parts they kept sending him unfortunately

    unfortunately I have to be careful, takes me a while to save up $3-4k for a lift kit... so I must research carefully, and save where I can upgrade easily later on...

    Absolutely.

    Personally I've only considered ADS, King and fox because of my lifestyle and my research.

    Honestly if I wasn't doing the 70+mph on the roads we did by ourselfs or smaller groups I'd probably have gone the 5160 route. That last trip was too many people to open up and feel comfortable to be honest.

    But all I have to add is I believe any 2.5 CO front from a big name can be fully modified at a later date if you choose, less Bilstein

    my other problem being this is my DD.. so I cant have long downtimes.. makes me think the Billstein 5160's are a better choice, but more of a compromise.. in the back of my head I'm teliing myself go big, or you'll regret it.. my hobbies are never "cheap"....

    I wouldnt say it's a compromise. The only thing you're really getting with anything "top tier is brand, shock fade resistance (which the 5160s will also be great with) and better control at high speeds.

    The truth is my shocks don't even start to be their best until I break 55 on rocks that are 3-5". They're rough as hell. And then they just open up and plane right over everything. Being a budget guy are you wanting to risk your daily at those speeds under those circumstances and risk breaking parts on your daily? Because they's where those shocks shine

    with the stocker billsteins on my OR I did ok on the golden road/NMW roads. I didn't air down as I did not have an air compressor at the time, and was struggling at 45mph... I assume if I aired down from the 32-34 PSI i had (when hot) closer to 20-24 PSI it would have helped a lot. (air down tool, and compressor are my next purchases).. mind you I am on 265/75/16's yokohama geolander AT's.

    1 of the main reasons I went with Icon is because they seem to hold up better in the salt belt from what I've been told.
