2017 Auto with 33’s and 4.88 gears. Installed 2.0 beta 4.88 gear lock. 3 things jump out at me. Truck idle is like butter. Never seen or felt it smoother. Seems to have slightly more power low to mid range. (Might be throttle response as I never ran the performance tune) Weird downshift drop to 3rd than right back to 4th is gone. Just seems to respond way better on grades. Super happy. Well done Mat!

I got TC shudder this morning 2x on 87. 1100 RPMs, about 35% throttle, engine load around 60 %, speed 45. Dont remember what gear I was and status of TC. I was not logging at the time. Shudder was kinda nasty. Later I hooked techstream and was trying to reproduce it on the same road and was not able. Hopefully I can get it recorded.
Anyway, the tune needs polishing before release. Other than tc and cold engine misfires, the tune is way better with power delivery and shifting.

On the misfire issue specifically, we've been dealing with that pre- 2.0, quite a while now on your truck I think.

@OVTune or anyone in the know: where would non GL fall in the release process of 2.0? A beta after GL goes to all or something else like for final release only?

I am a lucky test candidate based on my ECU but I am very happy with 1.05 and my occasionally ECT ON. I'm patient but since we are talking order things i thought would ask.

No concern if there is no current answer. Thanks all!

Quick question, can you get the 04B04 update anywhere else other than the dealership? Is this something you can flash on your own?

Join date May 11 and over 1000 posts.... I'm honestly curious what you did before you found TW. Was there another forum, did you just find forums and fell in love, trying to keep up with Spey? What was it?

Seriously though, happy to see a couple people loving 2.0, one saying the lug that I hate is gone, the other saying he’s getting rid of SSP, can’t wait until Mat opens this up for the 2018.

Sounds like I’m getting 2.0 soon, scheduled my 5.29s with ECGS for September, then supercharger....loving this right now, it’s all coming together.

Do you notice a quick shift from 2nd to 3rd...almost like it should wait 2-300 more rpms?

The only thing I know is that 201X ECUs could be the same as a prior year. No guarantee that you’ll always get a new ECU every new year.

I've got nothing in this, but he didn't ask Mat directly, he asked the thread.

Near as I can tell, that's fine. Asking and linking to Mat the same questions he's seen again and again is not OK. Kinda like when you're a Dad and the kid's start asking 'are we there yet' 15 minutes into a 4 hour drive.
