Those look pretty damn bright and the pic is even in daylight. Are they really that bright? Easy visibility of you from afar, I'm sure

Started this project yesterday, but it's finally starting to take shape today. Hopefully I'll finish it up tomorrow before I get my driveshafts redone.

you should see the number of balancing weights they applied to the inner wheel on one of mine when I had it redone
it seems very excessive! the tire has a potential defect then if too much weights?

Its just wrong when a tire takes that much weight in two places.

this is potential source of the squeaky doors that i have off and on
yesterday no squeak! it depends on the climate change (i think)
but it may be a tad 'loose' as you once mentioned

was removing the inside door paneling difficult or is there an easier way to get those door checks out?

Looks good to me, when I changed mine for the first time it came out darker than that :bananadead:

Have you noticed an improvement with the redline? Before I switched it was a real PITA to get into 1st gear and it was pretty much impossible if temps got below freezing

its not bad to remove at all, once you can get the door paneling stuff off safely, unless there is a spot to reach inside without panel removal?
i took one off a taco at a salvage lot but the paneling had already been removed!

picture of mine, just slip the black plastic cover off, a couple of nuts and then undo the part by the door hinge and then it pushes back inside the door
i cannot comment about this item keeping door opened on an incline...i cannot recall mine EVER being able to do that?? but i will check it out next time i am on an incline
? it is just to prevent a wind gust while the door is open (or something to that effect) from hyper extending and doing damage to body panelS?

MT90 is a staple around my place. It smoothed out some copper syncros on one of my transmissions. I use it for all kinds of touch and go applications.

Just ordered upper and lower ball joints with (8) bolts for the lowers. Might as well change out the ball joints since everything else has been replaced except the rack. Also, the split nut for the center bearing install with the two thin TSB washers.

We're running the IDBDR! (intro post)

    July 18, 2019.

...And then - in the distance - a cloud of dust. Unsure what it was, we continued on. Eventually, the source became clear - dual combines churning through a field of wheat. Like any kid at heart, I've got a soft spot for big machines like this, and having never seen a combine at work up close, I couldn't help myself but to climb out of the truck to stand on top of the @Cascadia Tents RTT to snap a few photos.

The grin on the combine driver's face said it all - even with some weirdo standing on top of his truck, snapping photos - he too was enjoying the experience.

Read the whole story and see all the photos at IDBDR Pt. 2 - Across the Snake River Plain
