I got my 2018 Tacoma last year, now with 8000 miles on it, and all was well until a couple of months ago wherein the Multi Information Display started showing the following errors:
    1. Check Vehicle Stability Control System
    2. Headlight System Malfunction
    3. Pre-Collision System Malfunction
    4. Lane Departure Alert Malfunction
    5. When I try to turn on Cruise Control, it would throw an error too stating that it was not available.
    These issues happen intermittently:
    • Either it's too hot here in Nashville
    • Sometimes after a car wash
    • Early morning when it is humid
Naturally, I went to the dealer where I bought the truck from, also in tow was a letter I received from Toyota on a Special Service Campaign for "Certain 2018-2019 Model Year Tacoma and Tundra Vehicles, Millimeter Wave Radar Sensor".

THe only aftermarket item I upgraded was the V6 Triton 6K White Amber Switchback 7443 LED Lights.

I left the truck for about 3 nights and the dealer replaced the sensor. Brought the truck home with no issues so far but I did notice that the Lane Departure Alert was not working, even if I made sure that i was switching lanes without the signal turns - even on white solid lines.

When I started the truck again the next day, there goes the dang errors again!

Anyone else experiencing issues with their sensors on their Tacomas, even after dealership visits?

Take it back to the dealership to fix it. Tell them it’s a safety concern with you, they should provide a loaner. You may be able to lemon law it if they can’t fix it.

Good deal, I will mention that it's a safety concern and yeah I don't feel comfortable with safety errors popping up on the MID. Thanks for the reply!

Take it in to the dealer and let them deal with it. Personally, i would not even drive it to the dealer. Since you are stating it's a saftey concern, call Toyota care for the road side assistance and have a flat bed come pick it up and take it and you to the dealer.
