I assume you figured this out? The fluid thermostat in the transmission doesn't crack open until almost 195F

Have you found the output line for the transmission fluid? There is a plunger that goes into a collar. There are 2 holes that you can slide a pin through after you have depressed the plunger. This holds the thermostat open and you will pass fluid to the cooler all the time when the engine is running.

So the line going from thermostat to radiator is the output side? Eventually imma upgrade the cooler so that's handy Info to have.

The thermostat we are talking about allows fluid to pass into the cooling circuit when the fluid is 195F or above. I believe you are speaking of a temperature monitor. There is a temp monitor at the fluid exit of the converter and in the pan

Yes. The fluid goes from thermostat to radiator to small cooler to fluid pan

Does anyone know if this will work for a 2006 Tacoma, or know a PID for a 2006 ?

For a 2019 AT, I added the PID's but they're not showing up as an active sensor, and there is already a Transmission Sensor (Method 1) that is active.

Any thoughts on why I'm not able to get the TF1 (pan) and TF2 (conv) temp to register? I must be doing something wrong. :notsure:

Also, does anyone know an extra PID in Torque PRO to measure the front diff temp? (ref here).

Maybe someone can point me in the right direction? I also wouldn't mind a how-to for setting up a good display.

    Thanks for this, OP!

I didn't read into the reference, but just because there is a PID, doesn't mean our trucks have the sensor.
