You quoted the wrong post. Ken @Holeshot was agreeing to you being here. It was 2toyotas that was questioning you. Just ignore 'em. That's why I just stick to a few threads. Too much butt hurt around. I hung around in here before I was officially eligible. These guys mostly think alike, which is why I love this thread.

Morning Susan :hattip:. It's getting a bit complicated with the Kens. Did you mean Ken #1 (me) or Ken #2 (@2Toyotas ). He quoted both posts. I don't know. How are you and the girls doing? Hoping all is well.

Oops, fixed. Didn't see where he had quoted your post, only the other one. Thanks. We're holding our own. Annie's still with me, so I'm happy. How are you?

Morning Gary. All is well, just HOT. How're things in your neck of the woods?

    Afternoon all:

Yup, and that food spread sure does look delicious!!!! :hungry:

    Afternoon Sue!!!

    Hmmm, new project! :annoyed:
Just ordered .120 thick intake gaskets for the 427. When I had the engine built he shaved the heads, which had never been done before. I installed a factory .060 gasket and I think I need the thicker gasket to seal properly. The other fix is to get the intake cut to match the angle of the heads and that ain't happening!

    Thank you for serving.
I served on the USS California CGN-36 from 1984-1987. I found out last year I'm a combat veteran, I had no idea. Lol. Still won't find proof the mission even happened on the internet. Go figure.
427!!! NOW you've got my attention! I've had over 30 cars and trucks and most were classics, over 30 bikes, over 30 boats. I had a 427 in a Roger's bubble deck jet boat, I smoked the fresh rebuild with bad fuel. Stupid is as stupid does.

    Let me see.
1st You got all of that from what little I wrote.
2nd I did not reply, so I was not the one that got all worked up.

I made a miniscule comment about a 54 YO in the 60+ thread, someone said it was alright, I made no further comment. So, i am not the one that needs to chill. I am chilled.

We're just polite to each other, civil may be a good word too. Apologies usually not needed as we "get" each others comments.

We are doing good as well. Getting ready for our vacation the end of the month. I have the best of both worlds as I get to babysit the Grand Dogs but don't have the full responsibility of caring for them 24/7:D:thumbsup:. When the time comes we will get a pup of our own and enjoy it. Have a good day.
