Just drove to CT to look at a pup to adopt and had the worst experience. Basically if you're not a stay at home mom, you're not getting a dog from them it sounds like.

Apparently the 7 dogs in both our families were horribly neglected and suffered for it.

Wishs we knew that ahead of time before we traveled 3 hours. Fingers crossed though. Might be surprised.

Oh no ! Sent me 1 stud for 25 FN dollars WTF
My plan is to swap out for longer studs trying to avoid spacers

When I was in Raleigh and looking to adopt a dog, I ran into multiple places that required signing an agreement to feed the dogs raw meat and all sorts of crazy stuff. Sure, if you can be home all day feeding your dog rib eye's, then do it. But it's not realistic and honest people won't take them, and liars will get them.

Yeah. We will see. Our application is in. We loved that it was a small dog that when picked up just stopped moving and relaxed. He'd for sure be a trail buddy.

We told them we both work 8 hour days staggered by an hour. So 7 hrs home at most, and her facility is dog friendly. Unless the boss says otherwise. But she's is the boss so I don't think that'll be an issue.

And apparently CT vaccinations with cats is way crazier than ours. We told them we followed the breeders schedule and they still gave us the eye roll and after I told here we are from NH and even the breeders schedule exceeds state requirements.

Just a bad vibe. Which is a shame. We really liked tbat dog

    Hire a stripper. Done.

My party was easy..we rented a Ford Expedition and I drove us around to the strip clubs. Beers were consumed on the ride by everyone but me.

    Never heard of them.
Kim helps out at Our Companions.org
    In Ashford.
She says it's really hard nowadays to adopt.
They don't really get to many puppies.
It sounds kind of local only.
Kim also says a good organization will make you jump through hoops to adopt a dog.
There are to many assholes out there apparently.

Yeah we showed up with our paper work already done, vet information, brought supplies to donate, ect. Just got a real bad vibe form the place. But we really liked the dog. We will see.

Kim also says embellish the crap out of what you say and on your application.
Things like I'm hitting a dog walker for lunch time while we are at work. (Someone you know)
Or I come home at lunch everyday.
They may want to contact someone for that.
Whatever you say make sure you can back it up.

Well Aubrey is her own boss and can bring the dog to work. They were told that. And then they go " so how many hours will you be away from the dog"...

Kim also says it doesn't make sense that they had drive all that way when third concerns should be on the application.
They should have discussed it over the phone.
Then when they feel right with you had you come down to meet.
