    Yes, it depends upon the controller or relay system your using. Ron Davis wants his temp switch for his relays in the return to the radiator. Autocoolguy wants his sensor in the supply to the engine.

    One theory is that you are controlling the temp based upon temp leaving the engine and returning to the radiator. The other is that you are controlling the temp based on what is supplying the engine. With the PWM controller I think it best to install the sensor in the lower hose that supplies the engine. If you install the sensor in the return from the engine, then you are not allowing the radiator the opportunity to cool on its own before you ramp the fans up. The fans will want to run all the time.

    For my fan controller the temp sensor must be on the radiator outlet (cold side) so the controller regulates fan speed compared to radiator (outlet) temps.
    It is a pwm controller so the fan only spins as fast as needed. I'll take a pic for you guys.

    I think I found my rough idle. Either I’m stupid and setup my catch can wrong or the catch can isn’t working. All the oil is popping up in my intake tube.

    It goes PCV to catch can inlet and catch can outlet to throttle body, correct?

    On our trucks its between the tb and sc but it sounds like you have it routed correctly.

    You probably have an obstruction somewhere in your catch can/routing so oil is finding its easiest way out. The breather.

    The odd thing is it seems like the oil is coming from the passenger side breather. The hose is super oily and slippery. But then that would mean I would need a dual can setup? Haven’t seen that before. Most have used a single can with great success.

    Dude... How many miles do you have on that beast? I don't want to sound like worst situation here but I wonder if it is possible that your piston rings are jacked and are letting too much oil blowby out.

    If you have an obstruction on one side, you’ll see the pressure and oil on the other side.

    @DocME you are on it today!

    @Kelvin. The passenger side is a filtered vent to atmosphere and the drivers side is normally under vacuum so air would enter from the passenger breather and ultimately come out the pcv where its injested into the combustion chamber. Catch can just filters the vapors so you are getting clean air.

    If your catch can or pcv hoses are pinched/obstructed then the engine will bleed off the excess pressure by path of least resistance which is the passenger side breather.

    Pull off the hose to the pcv and blow through it.
