Because it’s not ready yet. What had been there or saw was just place holder.

Yeah, they know how they’re going to price them and want people to be informed. Unless you have $5,000+ to pony up now, everyone complaining about them not being ready is just being a nuisance.

I posted them so people wouldn't be shocked about price. But it just causes confusion like always. So, I took them off, and it will all be back later with more clearer information.

@CaptainVoodoo , correct, the URD y-pipe handles everything from the dump tubes back to where the Y terminates. Considering the OV dump tubes terminate at the same location as the factory dump tubes, and the tubros will attach to the dump tubes, one could assume the first section (highlighted RED in picture) of OEM exhaust between the dump tubes and where the Y becomes one pipe, will be replaced by the turbos and modified exhaust that is provided by OV.

I do recall him mentioning the possibility of an entire exhaust setup, so there is always at. Then we wouldn't have to worry about any bottlenecks at all with high boost applications.

With all that said, this will likely not be an issue at all with lower boost applications. It looks like he made plenty of power on just 5psi of boost, that will keep plenty of people happy.

RED = replaced by turbos / ties back into factory y-pipe.
BLUE = possibly an optional replacement. No known alternative at this time to OEM.
GREEN = OEM 'cat-back' to rear of truck

Oh well that answer my concern, I was wondering if I should order the Y-pipe or not while I wait to purchase the TT. I'll put that money elsewhere lol

Has he mentioned what diameter size his exhaust will be?

smashed this, broke that, covered it up with tape and paint
Educated guess would say 3.0 to 3.5
I’d assume 4.0 would be too large

Edit: the one from Gibson is 3.0 and when I put it on my truck the truck seemed to really breathe better and the throttle response seemed to agree
So take that for what you will

Always whiners but never encouraging, if you can't do better than Matt then just keep the rudeness to yourself.

3 to 3.5 would be ideal, a 4 would be just massive

3” from the turbo back should be more than enough. 4” would drone like crazy, but you wouldn’t be restricted by the exhaust at all at that point.

My 3.9 Cummins has a 4 inch on it, I'd go 3.5 for the Tacoma just for less restriction but that's me.

It’ll probably have to be custom as well depending on how the install is. I haven’t read this entire thread, but I’d assume (unless he’s already stated) that current setups won’t match perfectly and require cutting the pipes shorter.

If the word custom isnt used on a Tacoma then you be in the wrong hood.

    Time to cut!

I’m gonna giggle with the Tundra comes out with a similar setup and this kit outperforms it for less money (and with less curb weight).

I agree on the Gibson. Great exhaust and sound. I am happy I went with it
