    Yah - I'm at the max spread of 38". The feet and rack pop off by squeezing these tabs. Some screws to loosen to adjust the bar spread...but nothing major. I'll do an install thread when I get some time. Took lots of pics.

    Thanks. Some wind noise with the bars mounted. Only noticable above 50.

    I had put on HD yakima rubber strips on the bars. They're smooth on the top and thicker than what came with the rack. I just swapped back to the Rhino strips. They have a diagonal pattern that's supposed to disrupt the airflow over the top and thus reduce wind noise. Going to head out in a few to see if there's any difference.

    The Rhino strips are significantly quieter. Guess that pattern actually works....science rocks! Wish they were a little thicker though. Hopefully my canoe won't compress them and ride on the metal. That's why I bought the thicker Yakima strips. I'll put the Yakima strips back on if that happens.
