Well the trucks tire have been rotated, air checked, oil changed, fluids checked and oh shit box (tools) is strapped down in the bed. Tomorrow 4am I will be on the road and heading to California/Mexico to do some fishing.

Today I replaced the wiper blades and cabin filter.

Opened the hood and the battery was not secured properly so I had to re-tighten the battery holder on top of the battery.

Plastic engine cover was also not on right so I redid that.

Headlights are getting a lot of condensation. Upon closer inspection they have little or no silicone/butyl rubber sealant in them. I'm probably going to do a retrofit kit again with this. I did my old '05 and then the Prius with the Mini H1 HID projector setup. So whenever I do that it should take care of the lights.

It was not the happiest engine in the world, but it did fine. We spent the flats around 60-65, uphills (in Colorado?) were pretty much as expected, but we still took the passes at 50-ish. Spent a lot of time in in 3rd and 4th gear. 5th on downhills. We got about 12.5 mpg when pulling.

Monarch wasn’t anything unexpected. It definitely sat back on its haunches, but...

...It wasn’t riding on the bump stops. There was travel on compression still...not a lot, but there was still some downward travel. Ironically, the wife thinks that we need a stronger suspension ...and we might just gain a couple inches in height too.

Well yesterday was a long day, 1167 miles in 17 hours and zero issues with the truck.

Anyone know of a tire shop that will vulcanize a sidewall in the Colorado Springs or south Denver areas?
