Blacked out the chrome rear bumper caps with some Duplicolor Bed Armor. Turned out pretty ok. Good enough to hold me over until I replace the rear with something better.

Also added Lamin-X to the front fogs (no pics).IMG_20190811_175720.jpg

Thank you, that’s a closer match than the ERA 1H5 paint code gave me. I’m running it on the TOYOTA on my faux pro grille, and a few other small things that are not directly next to the paint, but I’m still looking for a good one to hit some chips with. Guessing I’m going to have to mix it myself.

I think as long as it’s not next to it, it may be close enough. But if you have the ability or access to a small batch of custom mixed, that would probably work best.

The cement and sand can be tricky. Mine is actually a couple shades lighter then most others I’ve parked next to. Yours might be closer. I complained to automotivetouchup about the color match and they sent a new set. Both were the same so I looked deeper into my truck being the odd man out.

Shoot me a pm if you want the extra can. It’s only been used to spray a very very small part. Not expecting anything in return and you could use it to test the color or might even be enough do what you need to.

If the colour is a few shades lighter, have you thought of applying black 1st as a base coat?

Installed the @KB Voodoo Hi-rise cross bars and threw on the Tepui. Very happy with the outcome.

Its part of the factory grill, it used to be chrome. I dismantled the assembly and spray painted the outer trims black and the middle red/orange

Finished up a week long family trip around Michigan with a couple days at Silver Lake Dunes. My first time and learned a lot. Only saw one other 3rd gen out there. Definitely worth it if you can make it happen.
